One Piece Chapter 1133 recap
One Piece Chapter 1133 began with a flashback section which expanded on Robin’s life after the Oharan genocide. It’s revealed that Spandine is the one who blamed her for both the evacuee ship being blown up, and the sinking of several Marine warships. Focus then shifted to Robin on the run, at one point questioning her will to live. However, the memories of Saul, her mother Olvia, and Ohara pushed her onward through the pain.
Focus then returned to Elbaph in the present, where the Straw Hats’ two major groups and their respective Giant allies reunited. Introductions were then made across both groups as even more Giants poured out of nearby homes. The Giants were about to start a feast for Luffy and co, but Robin was going to first go see Saul. This led Luffy and the other Straw Hats to join her out of wanting to be there for and support her, putting the feast on hold for now.
Gerd escorted the Straw Hats to Warrior Springs, a lake area which had the appearance of a beach due to its size and terrain. Saul was here, but apparently collapsed on the ground and was unresponsive. However, Robin realized what he was doing, approaching him as he greeted her the same way he did 22 years ago. The issue ended with Robin asking to be praised for living so long, leading to a tearful reunion for the two of them, and the other Straw Hats alike.
What to expect from One Piece chapter 1134? (speculative)
One Piece chapter 1134 will likely open up with Saul showing Robin the library, wanting to do so now before forgetting to by getting caught up in the feast. This also makes sense, as it will naturally lend itself to further worldbuilding and lore opportunities for Elbaph specifically.
However, chapter 1134 is unlikely to spend the entirety of its time here, likely seeing the Straw Hats’ welcome feast begin by its end. That would also make sense as a means of transitioning to further set up of threats in Elbaph, like the silhouetted character who appeared in chapter 1133’s final scenes.
