One Piece episode 1101 recap
One Piece episode 1101 began with confirmation that Sentomaru did survive Rob Lucci’s attack. This upsets Lucci since Sentomaru being alive means he and CP0 still can’t control the Seraphim given the authority hierarchy. Lucci then tries to attack Sentomaru again, but Luffy intercepts the attack and sends him flying. However, Luffy couldn’t stop himself from spinning, resulting in him drilling a hole into the ground and disappearing into it.
Dr. Vegapunk is then seen explaining that he was able to find a way to replicate Paramecia-type Devil Fruits via the use of Green Blood and Lineage Factors. This Green Blood is what flows through the Seraphim and also allows them to use these replicated Devil Fruit abilities. He claims the Seraphim are the strongest form of humanity, while the Straw Hats criticize him for creating such scary weapons for the Marines.
Meanwhile, Luffy returns just as Lucci begins attacking Sentomaru again, eventually defeating him via a new move called the Gum-Gum Rocket. Lucci passes out shortly thereafter from the impact of the blow. Chopper and Jinbe are then seen reaching the Labo-Phase with Bonney and Atlas in tow, escorted by S-Snake.
The episode ends with Luffy reconvening with them after being asked by Sentomaru to protect Dr. Vegapunk.
One Piece episode 1102: What to expect (speculative)
With Lucci having been dealt with for now and the Straw Hats and Vegapunks safe in the Labo-Phase, One Piece episode 1102 should see them begin discussing what comes next with Dr. Vegapunk. More specifically, the other Straw Hats and Vegapunks should be informed of his decision, and likewise begin coming up with a full escape plan.
Episode 1102 is also likely to see Dr. Vegapunk further expand on the creation process of the Seraphim and how he was able to replicate Paramecia-type Devil Fruits. Fans can additionally expect to learn more about the Vegapunk Satellites, likely revealing details about their distinct personalities in the process.
