In One Piece episode 1108, viewers saw S-Snake using Love-Love Mellow to turn York into stone, after which she advanced towards Lilith’s group. Despite Lilith commanding her to stop, she continued and shot at her with a laser beam. Franky was eager to fight her, but Lilith was apprehensive as she was aware that the Seraphim were the strongest form of humanity.

Elsewhere, S-Bear and S-Hawk appeared to attack Zoro. However, he quickly realized that he was not the only target, as S-Hawk launched an attack at Lucci and Kaku who were unconscious. Shaka tried to stop the Seraphim, but to no avail.

Shaka then concluded that one of the Vegapunks must be ordering them. This explained why the communications and visuals were down, and why they were trapped in Labophase by the frontier dome defense system. Someone was attempting to eliminate them all.

Upon regaining consciousness, Lucci and Kaku proposed a truce. They wanted to help fight Seraphim but were taken aback by the repulsed expressions on Luffy and Zoro's faces.

One Piece episode 1108 also revealed that members of CP5, CP7, and CP8 were confined in a capsule in the lab. They had been there for two months, without proper food, and wondering if they would ever escape.

They had arrived to investigate Egghead, but when they tried to return, their ships were destroyed by the Sea Beasts, which forced them to return to the island where they were subsequently imprisoned.

They had initially suspected Vegapunk, but they were mistaken as Vegapunk himself was in handcuffs in front of them. Vegapunk wondered whether his research into Ponegliffs had somehow been leaked to the World Government. In the meantime, over a hundred vessels of various sizes were on their way to Egghead.

Sentomaru, who had been resting in a factory in Fabiriophase, urged everyone to flee the island. He recounted what had happened to Ohara, how the island and its inhabitants were wiped off the map for rebellion against the World Government.

Sentomaru was apprehensive that an incident worse than what happened at Ohara was soon to take place at Egghead.

The episode does a great job at making the Seraphim appear menacing, even though they look like children. The situation has become critical as one of the Vegapunks has switched sides, possibly joining hands with the World Government, to help them accomplish their objectives at Egghead.

This makes it imperative for the Straw Hats to locate the scientist and leave Egghead immediately. However, half the interest for viewers is in uncovering the World Government’s plot and the consequences if the Straw Hats fail to flee before their arrival. To find out, viewers must patiently wait for the upcoming episodes.

In the previous episode, Bonney experienced the torment that Kuma had undergone even as a kid, to the point that he wished he was dead. Bonney was not able to handle it, but she still resolved to dig deeper into her father's painful past.

Elsewhere in the lab, Pythagorus was ambushed while he was searching for Vegapunk. At the same time, Luffy lost contact with his crew, and Shaka lost contact with the other Satellites.

Meanwhile, Franky, Usopp, York, and Lilith found Pythagorus. Pythagorus felt fortunate not to have been shot in the head. As he hesitated to share what happened, York was attacked by S-Snake.
