One Piece Episode 1109 recap

One Piece Episode 1109 began with S-Hawk using his Dice-Dice Fruit powers to attack Zoro and Luffy. The pair dodged the attacks while protecting Lucci and Kaku, prompting the former to suggest freeing them so they could all fight together. However, Zoro disagreed with this, while Shaka questioned Lucci about his mission. This prompted him to reveal their goal of killing all seven Vegapunks and Stussy, given her betrayal, but Luffy still ordered them to be freed despite this.

Luffy and Lucci then teamed up to take on S-Bear, while Kaku and Zoro handled S-Hawk. Each pair was seen overwhelming their respective Seraphim opponents, but the focus then shifted to Elbaf in the New World.

The Red Hair Pirates are then seen in a bar, with Shanks learning that Eustass Kid and his crew are after them and off Elbaf’s shore. Shanks laments the idea of disrupting the island’s peace for a squabble like this as he walks to the shore.

He decides to give Kid a choice to either fight or peacefully give Shanks and his crew the Road Poneglyph rubbings he got from Wano and leave. Then the focus shifted to the Kid Pirates, where Killer was seen reminding Kid that he lost an arm the last time they fought the Red Hair Pirates, and they didn’t even see Shanks. The episode ended with Killer telling Kid he may lose his life this time, but Kid laughed this off and decided to go through with the fight.

One Piece Episode 1110: What to expect (speculative)

While it’s unclear where One Piece episode 1110’s focus may lie, fans can expect a focus on fighting in either scenario. A focus on Elbaf should see Shanks and Kid’s forces begin skirmishing with each other, while a return to Egghead should see the pairs of Luffy and Lucci, and Zoro and Kaku begin closing out their fights.

Episode 1110 should also begin focusing on the other groups of Straw Hat Pirates across Egghead Island and give updates on their current statuses as well. With Franky’s group already confirmed under attack by S-Snake, it’s more likely than not that other Seraphim are dealing with Sanji and co simultaneously.
