One Piece episode 1111 begins with a fleet of naval ships, led by Admiral Kizaru, sailing towards Egghead Island. On board, one of the Five Elders, St. Jaygarcia Saturn, is seen relishing a drink. They are soon to arrive at their destination.

The episode then cuts to Vegapunk's lab, where Stussy informs Sentomaru about the Navy's plans. Their primary objective is to eliminate Vegapunk for continuing Ohara's research despite it being forbidden.

Moreover, he has the technology to fight back against the World Government, which makes him a serious threat. Hence, the Navy is coming prepared as if it is a war-like situation. Assessing the gravity of the situation, Sentomaru instructs the island's inhabitants to evacuate immediately.

In the meantime, S-Snake stomps on Pythagorus’ head, which creates a huge explosion. Elsewhere, Sanji prepares to battle S-Shark and bravely shields Nami from the Seraphim’s punch. He seems excited to show the power of love.

On another floor, Luffy’s group struggles against S-Bear and S-Hawk. Zoro predicted that once the fire on the back of the Seraphim went out, they would become susceptible. However, the fire continues to burn.

In the midst of this, S-Hawk slips away and Lucci suspects that there has been a shift in their strategy. Perhaps they want to eliminate the weaker opponents first. Zoro and Kaku leave to search for S-Hawk, while Luffy unleashes a barrage of punches at S-Bear, but it is ineffective.

Next, in One Piece episode 1111, the narrator reveals that all of these events occurred a day before the infamous Egghead Incident, which will send shockwaves across the world. The roots of this incident can be traced back to three months ago.

A flashback to three months ago shows a message received at Sacred Marijoa about Vegapunk's research into the Void Century. CP5, CP7, and CP8 were dispatched to Egghead for verification but they never returned.

A subsequent meeting took place between the Five Elders and the traitor and it was decided that Vegapunk would be assassinated. The CP0 was assigned the task. However, the arrival of the Straw Hats complicated matters.

In the previous episode, Zoro noticed a resemblance between the Seraphim and King. Shaka confirmed that the Seraphim indeed had Lunarian blood coursing through their veins. This information was vital for Zoro, who then disclosed that the Lunarians were vulnerable when the flame on their backs was out. The same vulnerability was expected to be true for the Seraphim as well.

In the meantime, Nami's team was being chased by S-Shark. However, it was Sanji who made a timely appearance and rescued Nami from the clutches of the Seraphim. In a different place, S-Snake succeeded in petrifying Lilith, Usopp, and Franky.

The episode ended with Shaka locating the basement Old Devil Fruit Research Laboratory, where he suspected Vegapunk was being held captive. He found Vegapunk and the detained Cipher Pol agents but was shot before he could rescue them.
