One Piece Episode 1112 recap
One Piece Episode 1112 began with a flashback showing York planning her moves with the Seraphim, including ordering S-Snake to petrify her as well so she can maintain cover. This prompted a quick shift in focus to Eustass Kid and the Kid Pirates, who reached Elbaf Island’s bay and were met with resistance by Shanks’ allies. This included Gerotini from the Puddle Pirates, Fugar from the Social Club, and Pururu from the Bourgeois Pirates.
Kid started to get annoyed, saying he wanted to face Shanks himself. On Elbaf, Shanks was preparing to leave but was being told not to go by the island’s populace. He gave them all a proper farewell and warned them to stay away from the bay, since a major fight was going down. Shanks then boarded the Red Force and asked his crew for info on the Kid Pirates, getting a dossier on Kid himself from someone named Hongo.
Kid, meanwhile, prepared to fire what seemed to be a stronger version of the Damned Punk, eventually launching it at and destroying the various ships blocking his way to Shanks. However, this was revealed to be Shanks’ Future Sight, resulting in him using a Conqueror’s Haki-laden Divine Departure on Shanks to defeat him. The issue ended with Shanks taking the Road Poneglyph rubbings as Dorry and Brogy sank the crew and destroyed their ship.
One Piece Episode 1113 what to expect (speculative)
One Piece Episode 1113 will likely open up with a return in focus to Egghead Island, especially considering that the fight between Shanks and Kid is now officially over. While it’s possible that the series dives into a new focus, this seems relatively unlikely considering the current situation on Egghead and some much-needed updates regarding the Straw Hats.
Episode 1113 should, however, give an update on what the next off-of-Egghead focus for the arc will be. One of the most notably unfinished of these focuses is the apparent setup of Garp and his fellow SWORD members going to Hachinosu Island in order to rescue Koby. With this also being one of the most exciting focuses in theory, it likely will be the one the series focuses on next, whether in Episode 1113 or beyond.
