In One Piece Episode 1114, Koby finds himself surrounded by the Blackbeard Pirates who are ready to shoot at him and claim the bounty on his head. However, their plan is thwarted by Hibari, who appears just in time and uses Vegapunk’s invention to transform their gunpowder into flowers.

Meanwhile, Grus employs his clay soldiers to gather the Blackbeard Pirates in an open area, while Kujaku uses her Devil Fruit powers to manipulate the buildings, blocking all possible exits.

Shortly after, Garp makes a dramatic entrance by launching his ship into the air. Before landing, he shows off his Galaxy Impact, a Haki-imbued punch attack that generates massive shockwaves.

Next, in One Piece Episode 1114, Grus uses his Glorp-Glorp Fruit abilities to ensure Garp’s ship lands smoothly. By this time, most of the pirates have already been knocked out by Garp’s Haki, and the Navy soldiers handle the remaining ones.

As Koby is being welcomed back by the Navy, Hibari, who is running alongside him, is suddenly turned to ice. Koby catches her just in time to prevent her from being shattered to pieces. The culprit is revealed to be Kuzan.

A flashback then takes viewers two years back, revealing that a nail-biting battle took place between Akainu and Kuzan for the position of the Navy’s next Fleet Admiral. The battle continued for ten days, ending with Akainu emerging as the victor. Kuzan, unwilling to serve under Akainu, left the Navy and later encountered Blackbeard. In his anger and heartbreak, Kuzan turned Blackbeard’s crew into ice.

In One Piece Episode 1114, viewers are once again treated to absolutely stunning animation sequences. The episode features a long sequence where Garp arrives at Pirate Island, landing right in the midst of the assembled pirates. With his ship flying, and the whole sky turned red from his Haki, he makes everyone’s eyes pop out, including Koby’s.

Garp then unleashes his Galaxy Impact, with the animators transforming the background into a galaxy. The impact of the attack is shown, which flattens buildings around the impact point and creates a massive crater.

However, the creators missed an opportunity by not adding some original scenes of Akainu and Kuzan in action. Despite this, fans can look forward to an epic battle between Kuzan and Garp.

In the previous episode, Perona managed to free Koby. However, news of Koby's escape, along with several other prisoners, quickly spread across Pirate Island among the Blackbeard Pirates. As they started to hunt for the escapees, Koby decided to make it his priority to ensure the rest escaped before him.

The episode also revealed Blackbeard's grand plan to turn Pirate Island into a nation under the World Government, with himself as the ruler. He had captured Koby to use him as leverage, but Koby pointed out that this would not work because, as a SWORD member, he had given up his Navy Code. However, Blackbeard was determined to see if the government would really abandon Koby, who was considered a Navy hero.

In the present, Navy soldiers arrived at Pirate Island's port and began attacking the pirates.
