One Piece episode 1119 recap
One Piece episode 1119 began with Imu revealing the meaning of the D. initial to Cobra, saying those with the D. are their enemies. They then explained that Lily was responsible for spreading the Poneglyphs across the world, but was unsure of whether or not it was a mistake or intentional. They said Cobra could share the answer by revealing Lily’s full name. Likewise, since she had D. in her name, Imu realized she was an enemy all along before attacking Cobra.
Sabo sprung into action at this moment, attacking Imu with his Devil Fruit powers. However, the Gorosei and Imu all transformed into monstrous silhouettes, prompting Sabo to attempt to escape with Cobra. However, both are then attacked by Imu, with Cobra sacrificing himself, so Sabo could escape alive. Cobra also asked Sabo to tell both Vivi and Luffy that the Nefertari family also bears the D. in their names.
As Cobra was finished off, it was revealed that Wapol had seen the whole thing through a peephole in a nearby wall. He began chewing through several walls to escape, eventually finding the room where CP0 had Vivi captured. As Wapol ran through, Vivi snuck out of the room in his mouth, successfully evading CP0. The episode ended with Wapol and Vivi fleeing Mariejois, wanting to go somewhere no one could possibly find them.
What to expect from One Piece episode 1120 (speculative)?
Following the incredibly exciting events of episode 1119, One Piece episode 1120 is likely to be much tamer in terms of its content. Sabo’s escape from the Reverie will likely be the main focus, revealing how he ended up at Lulusia Kingdom in the first place. The installment should also see Sabo musing on the meaning of Cobra, Vivi, and the Nefertari family also having the initial D., possibly revealing some new lore via a flashback.
Episode 1119 will also likely focus on Jewelry Bonney, Vivi and Wapol, and other major players from the Reverie arc whose actions thereafter still need to be explored and explained. Leo and Sai specifically are also likely to get a focus considering their attacking a Celestial Dragon. At a minimum, even if the pair themselves aren’t shown, the fallout of their actions should be explored at least.
