With the conclusion of the Wano Arc, Eiichiro Oda’s One Piece series entered its final saga. After showing a brief flashback of the Roger Pirates’ last adventure, the arc set in Wano revealed how the country came to fall into the hands of Kaido, the captain of the Beasts Pirates. As the narration returned to the present time, the Straw Hat Pirates launched an assault on Kaido’s lair, the island of Onigashima.
To face the Beasts Pirates, who had joined forces with Big Mom’s crew, the Straw Hats teamed up with Oden’s children and retainers, as well as the Kid Pirates, the Heart Pirates, Marco, and Yamato, among others. The ensuing battle resulted in the defeat of Kaido, Big Mom, and their men. With Wano freed from oppression, the Straw Hats left the country and traveled to Egghead, the home of Dr Vegapunk’s futuristic laboratory.
Egghead soon turned into a chaotic battlefield, as Luffy and the others got involved in the World Government’s attempt to assassinate Vegapunk. As the consequences of the Egghead Incident would affect the balance of the entire world, it’s interesting to note how only about one month passed between the Straw Hats’ adventures in Wano and Egghead.

The One Piece timeline between Wano and Egghead
The Onigashima Raid was the main event in Wano
Before the beginning of the Wano Arc, some of the Straw Hats went to Whole Cake Island to rescue Sanji from Big Mom’s clutches, while the rest of the crew headed to Wano and infiltrated the country. As such, the long-awaited reunion between Luffy and Zoro can be considered to be Day 1 of the timeline between Wano and Egghead.
On the same day, Kinemon declared that the alliance’s assault on Kaido’s lair, the island of Onigashima, would take place in two weeks. Therefore, the Onigashima Raid occurred on Day 14. This fierce battle featured several major moments, such as the clash between Supernovas and Yonkos, the revelation of Zoro’s formidable powers as a Conqueror’s Haki user, and, of course, the first appearance of Luffy’s Gear 5 form.
Unleashing the unreal abilities of “Sun God” Nika through his newfound transformation, Luffy eventually managed to overcome Kaido, marking the end of the struggle. After being finally declared the winner of the heated fight against Kaido, Luffy passed out and so did Zoro, who, after defeating King, suddenly felt the repercussions of the Minks’ medicine.
This special drug allowed Zoro to instantly heal from the injuries he received during the fight with Kaido and Big Mom, but at the cost of making him suffer double the damage later. Therefore, following the end of the fighting, Luffy and Zoro took several days to recover from their terrible wounds.
The One Piece manga explicitly mentioned that Luffy and Zoro slept for a whole week. Thus, the day of their awakening is Day 21 of the timeline. In the following days, several prominent events took place. Admiral Ryokugyu arrived in Wano, but his attempt to bring chaos was thwarted by “Red Hair” Shanks.
The downfall of Kaido and Big Mom resulted in them being stripped of their Yonko titles in favor of Luffy and, comically enough, Buggy. In fact, in a continuous comedy of errors, the World Government had mistaken Buggy for the leader of the Cross Guild, a newly established organization whose ranks included Crocodile and even “Hawk Eyes” Mihawk.
Meanwhile, the Straw Hats parted ways with both their former allies and the people of Wano, and set sail for a new adventure. No exact timeframe was given for these events, as the One Piece manga only mentioned that this happened a few days after Luffy and Zoro woke up from their sleep.
Everything happened quickly in Egghead
The Straw Hat crew’s departure from Wano was stated to be “days later”. Therefore, the concerned timespan was definitely longer than a single day (due to the mention of multiple days), but most likely shorter than a week (or the manga would have mentioned an entire week). Hence, it’s safe to say that the timeframe amounted to about three or four days.
This means that the Straw Hats left Wano on Day 25 or Day 26 of the timeline. The crew then traveled for a few days, until they reached a brutally cold climate zone, where they came across a giant worm eddy. A person was trapped inside the eddy, so Zoro cut through the huge mass of water to free said individual.
The person in question was none other than Jewelry Bonney, a Worst Generation member. Shortly after, the Straw Hats and Bonney were shipwrecked on the island of Egghead, thus ushering in the homonymous arc. No exact timeframe was given for these events, as the One Piece manga only mentioned “days later” in this case well.
By the same reasoning as before, the timeline should have reached Day 29 or Day 30 by the beginning of the Egghead Arc. As the events unfolded, leading to the involvement of Dr Vegapunk, his satellite bodies, the CP0, the Navy, Bartholomew Kuma, and even the Five Elders, the manga explicitly mentioned that the incident taking place on the island would conclude the day after the Straw Hat crew’s arrival.
The timeline thereby reached Day 30 or Day 31. With this in mind, while it’s not possible to obtain a perfect estimate, the timespan between the beginning of the Wano Arc and the conclusion of the Egghead Arc can be quantified as, give or take, one month.
