Following the latest release of author and illustrator Eiichiro Oda’s One Piece manga series, fans are incredibly anxious for the chapter 1118 spoilers and what they may have in store. Understandably, many are hopeful that Dr. Vegapunk’s broadcast will resume somehow and finish the statement he started on the D. Clan.

Unfortunately, there are no verifiable spoilers for the upcoming official One Piece manga release as of this article’s writing. While these spoilers should start leaking sometime during the release week, recent anti-manga piracy efforts in Japan have made the series’ spoiler process liable to go defunct at any time without warning. This includes the current release week.

That being said, however, the One Piece manga would be wrapping up its Egghead arc in these next few chapters, and likewise should follow a fairly predictable path to this conclusion. Unsurprisingly, chapter 1118 itself should focus primarily on the Straw Hats as they escape Egghead’s shores before honing in on the Gorosei and Vegapunk York.

As mentioned above, the One Piece manga is clearly heading towards its final moments in the Egghead arc given how recent issues have progressed. Likewise, fans can expect to see Nami and Bonney’s groups successfully make it out to sea, leaving Zoro, Jinbe, Dorry, Brogy, Luffy, and possibly even Sanji on the island for now.

Likely, Zoro and Jinbe will simply jump into the Thousand Sunny, given that they’re on the Labo-Phase with no way to get back down to the island’s surface. Meanwhile, Luffy, Dorry, Brogy, and possibly Sanji will likely stay behind as long as they can to buy time for the Giant Warrior Pirates’ ship to get out into open waters.

From here, One Piece’s upcoming release should see the threesome/foursome find a way onto the Giant Warrior Pirates’ ship somehow. Sanji will most likely skywalk with Luffy to the ship, while Dorry and Brogy will likely either swim or use Marine battleships as footholds in a manner similar to humans using stepping stones to cross a river.

Once all of them are shown to be on their respective ships, fans can expect to see the Thousand Sunny use its Coup de Burst, while the Giant Warrior Pirates’ ship swiftly sails past the Marines. Fans can expect to see the Marines report that the Straw Hats and co have successfully escaped, prompting a shift in focus to the Gorosei.

The Gorosei will likely lament their inability to claim a total victory here, but would likely be satisfied with stopping Dr. Vegapunk’s message when they did and acquiring the Mother Flame Power Plant. Likewise, they should quickly turn their attention to Vegapunk York, whom they’ll likely betray due to the situation her incompetence and lack of knowledge created. She’ll likely try to argue this, but be knocked out by one of their Conqueror’s Haki in order to “shut her up.”

As for how the chapter will conclude, there are a few different directions the series could go. One of the most likely ones is shifting focus to Elbaf, setting up who the Straw Hats will meet and what they’ll do on the island likewise. A focus on Shanks or Blackbeard also seems likely considering how momentous the Egghead Incident is to be. A final possibility is a focus on the escaped Straw Hats, officially concluding the Egghead arc likewise.
