With author and illustrator, Eiichiro Oda’s best-selling One Piece manga series winding down its Egghead arc, anything can happen in the coming weeks and associated releases. Fans are likewise especially anxious for the upcoming chapter 1121, set to officially release in Japan on Monday, July 15, 2024.

Unfortunately, there are no verifiable spoilers for the upcoming official One Piece installment as of this article’s writing. While there are some spoilers online, most of them are fake and come from irregular, unverifiable sources. Moreover, there’s a chance fans don’t get spoilers at all considering anti-manga piracy efforts in Japan throughout the 2024 calendar year thus far.

Thankfully, the upcoming One Piece chapter has a few aspects and events which can be counted on as being included, even without the help of any spoiler information. This includes a likely sacrifice from Emeth, as well as the Straw Hat crew finally reuniting and sailing out of Egghead alongside each other.

The upcoming issue of One Piece will likely open up with a focus on the Thousand Sunny, seeing it hit the waters around Egghead in the same general area as the Giant Warrior Pirates’ ship. This should allow the two groups to finally reunite and sail out of Egghead’s waters together, dealing with the various Marine forces as they do so.

From here, focus should shift to the bow of the Giant Warrior Pirates’ ship, which is currently being used as a seat by Gorosei member Saint Jaygarcia Saturn. This should also see Sanji and others, possibly even Luffy, begin fighting Saturn, who has made it clear that he wants to eliminate Bonney and Kuma before they escape.

One Piece will likely return focus to the Thousand Sunny at this point, seeing them fend off various Marine attacks from the nearby ships. Zoro, Brook, and Jinbe will likely be the primary combatants here, while Usopp, Nami, and Chopper man the sails and get the ship moving. Robin will likely remain in the cabin with Lilith as she listens to the end of Dr. Vegapunk’s message.

At this point, the issue should shift focus to Stussy, revealing what her current status and location is. While it’s unlikely that she can reunite with the Straw Hats at this point, it’s possible that she instead decides to “avenge” Dr. Vegapunk by destroying Punk Records. While this isn’t what the scientist had hoped for his internet-like creation, he’d likely agree it’s a better fate than being turned into the World Government’s research and propaganda tool.

An update should then be given on Gorosei member Saint Marcus Mars, who was sent flying into the sky in previous issues by Luffy and his allies. It’s likely that Mars will be on his way back to Egghead and imminently arriving, setting up a final five-on-one showdown between Emeth and the Gorosei.

This should in turn prompt a shift in focus to Emeth, who is musing on the time he spent with Joy Boy and how happy he was to see Joy Boy return as the Gorosei line up. Just as Mars and Nusjuro arrive, Emeth will likely say something about having no regrets or being willing to do anything for Joy Boy, as he triggers a massive explosion in the issue’s final panel.
