With One Piece’s Eggheard arc all but over following the apparent conclusion of Dr. Vegapunk’s broadcast, fans are more anxious than ever for chapter 1122’s upcoming official release. Unfortunately, the next installment for the series will be somewhat delayed thanks to Oda taking a break week for the last Weekly Shonen Jump release week of July.

In turn, this also means One Piece fans will be unable to find verifiable spoilers on the upcoming issue’s events for quite some time, at least until the issue’s release week is at hand. Even more unfortunate is that this spoiler process is liable to go defunct at any time without warning, meaning fans could theoretically be waiting for spoilers that will never come.

Thankfully, there are some aspects of and events within One Piece’s upcoming installment that fans can count on being present even without the help of verifiable spoilers. This includes a likely focus on the Straw Hats and their linking the Thousand Sunny and Giant Warrior Pirates’ ship for their escape, as well as the reveal of what Emeth has been planning over recent issues.

One Piece chapter 1122 will likely open up with a continued focus on the Thousand Sunny, seeing it make seafall in the general area near the Giant Warrior Pirates’ ship. This should then lead to a focus on the two ships linking up to be able to escape together and not get separated in the chaos.

The issue will then likely give an update on Gorosei member Saint Jaygarcia Saturn, who, in a shocking twist, will likely fall into the sea before popping back up fully healed. When considering the state of his body and how seemingly inevitable his falling into the sea is, it seems to be the only logical answer even if an incredibly shocking and unexpected one.

Luffy and the others will likely see this and be shocked, but be even more taken aback by the fact that Saturn chooses to retreat to his allies instead of continuing to pursue them. This should prompt a shift in focus to Emeth and his fight against Gorosei members Saint Topman Warcury and Saint Shepherd Ju Peter.

It’s at this point that chapter 1122 should reveal that the pair beckoned Saturn to come back to them, and are doing the same for Saint Ethanbaron V. Nusjuro and Saint Marcus Mars. They’ll likely explain that Emeth is about to use something equivalent to the Mother Flame’s power, which would legitimately injure them.

The full Gorosei will likely reconvene as Emeth is musing on his time with Joy Boy, and how he laments that he couldn’t save him back then during the Void Century. This should prompt him to then think of Luffy and promise to save him today, activating whatever presumably massive and incredibly destructive attack he’s building towards.

The issue will likely then see the blast from the attack wiping out the smaller Marine ships, which would also be the case for the Thousand Sunny if it weren’t tied to the Giant Warrior Pirates’ ship. This should then allow the Straw Hats to finally begin their escape, needing only to deal with the straggler Marine ships as the issue ends.
