Following the release of chapter 1123 earlier this weekend, One Piece fans are eager to see the Egghead arc’s conclusion continue, hopefully elaborating on more plotlines in the process. Thankfully, fans won’t be waiting too long for the issue’s arrival, with the series not taking a break before the upcoming release of chapter 1124 next week.

Unfortunately, verifiable spoilers for One Piece’s upcoming issue are unavailable as of the time of this article’s writing. While they are likely to come out at some point this week, there is no guarantee, given their inherently illicit nature. Likewise, recent anti-manga piracy efforts in Japan have put the longevity and status of the series’ spoiler process in doubt.

Thankfully, there are some aspects and events within One Piece's upcoming installment that fans can count on being present, even without the help of verifiable spoilers. Fans can expect chapter 1124 to focus on Vegapunk York, Saint Jaygarcia Saturn, the other Gorosei members, Imu, and more, while the Straw Hats sail to Elbaf.

Given that the latest chapter focused exclusively on the Straw Hats and Dr. Vegapunk, chapter 1124 of the manga will likely shift focus to Vegapunk York and Saint Jaygarcia Saturn, a member of Gorosei. Both are still on Egghead Island, probably stewing in the mess that is their failure to eliminate the Straw Hats and end Dr. Vegapunk’s Void Century broadcast.

York would have met up with Saturn by then, concerned only with the possibility of her still returning to Mariejois and becoming a Celestial Dragon. Saturn would likely say nothing, or even if he does, it’ll presumably be a comment about how that decision may no longer rest with him. In either scenario, the focus is expected to shift to Mariejois, where Imu and the other Gorosei members will probably meet.

One Piece chapter 1124 is expected to see the other Gorosei members shift blame to Saturn and argue that he is the only one at fault since the mission to Egghead fell under his command. Imu will likely silence them, saying he isn’t here to discuss who is at fault but rather to identify his next target. This is probably none other than Luffy and his crew, which should come as no surprise to the Gorosei members.

Focus is then expected to shift to Monkey D. Dragon and the Revolutionary Army, who would likely discuss Dr. Vegapunk’s broadcast and its impact on their goals. Dragon and Ivankov should be apprehensive to move any time soon, prompting Sabo to urge the need for action. Realizing that they can capitalize on the distrust Dr. Vegapunk has sewn, Dragon would order them to begin making their move.

This should prompt a further shift in focus to Garling Figarland and his Holy Knights, who’ll most certainly be meeting on orders from Imu. Either way, fans can expect to see at least what each of the Holy Knights look like, if not get introduced to them. The issue will likely end with the reveal that the Holy Knights have been ordered by Imu to pursue the Straw Hats, setting up the crew’s Elbaf enemies.
