Hence, if the Sun and Forest were to work together, they should be allies which won't be the case if Ryokugyu is revealed as the Forest God. Similarly, since Rain opposes the Sun, the chances of Dragon being the Rain God aren't much either. Hence, only time would reveal the true identities of the other Gods who will play a key role in the final saga.
