One Piece final saga is currently in process and once in the past two decades, it feels like Eiichiro Oda's masterpiece might finally be reaching a conclusion. With the finale nearing and the Straw Hat Pirates getting close to the final treasure, all eyes are on how the author would conclude the journey of Monkey D Luffy.

Where most fandom could consider Luffy's journey similar to Roger's, thinking that the Straw Hats might disband after finding the final treasure, things might turn out differently. Other than finding the final treasure, there are several other commitments that Straw Hat Pirates have to fulfill, some of which include their reunion with Laboon and Nefertari Vivi.

One Piece: Why Laugh tale won't be the Straw Hat Pirates' final stop on the Grand Line

One Piece manga series, as of this article's publication, is on a 2-week hiatus. It is set to return in November 2024. However, the series is currently going through its final saga and potentially its 'final arc,' the Elbaph arc. As hinted by the author numerous times, this arc could mark the final stop of Monkey D Luffy and the Straw Hat Pirates before they enter Laugh Tale.

So, the fandom considers the Elbaph arc to be more of a 'training arc' before the final showdown with the World Government. However, what would happen after the Straw Hat Pirates obtain the final treasure? Would Luffy announce the disbanding of his crew just like Roger did? That might not be the case considering how the Straw Hat Pirates have a lot of commitments to fulfill.

After finding the One Piece on Laugh Tale, on their way back to the East Blue, the Straw Hat Pirates would make stops at every island they visited to tie some loose ends. The first stop could be Wano Kingdom, where the Straw Hat Pirates would reunite with the Samurai and Yamato, who was also one of the biggest candidates as the next Straw Hat Pirates.

The second stop could be Fisherman Island where Jinbei would be dropped off and this could be where Madam Shyarly would address the truth of her prophecy about how Luffy was supposed to destroy the Fisherman Island. Similarly, they would stop at Water Seven to drop Franky. Their next stop would be the Arabasta Kingdom where they'd catch up to things with Nefertari Vivi.

The next major stop would be Reverse Mountain where Laboon would be reunited with Brook. Meanwhile, Luffy could have his much-awaited rematch with the whale. Finally, entering the East Blue, each Straw Hat Pirate would be dropped at their own hometowns.

The Straw Hats might also stop at islands like Zou, Amazon Lily, and others, where they don't have any business to celebrate their achievement. Moreover, on their way back from Laugh Tale, Nami would also construct a map of the world, hinting that Laugh Tale won't be the Straw Hats' final stop on the Grand Line.

Analysis and Final Thoughts

While this theory does explore a unique idea after the end of One Piece, there are still some aspects to consider. These aspects include whether everyone wants to return to their hometowns, whether some Straw Hat Pirates would be married, or many other things.

Moreover, Luffy's current lifespan also puts his life status on question mark, meaning that there is no telling if he would survive for a post-finale arc after becoming the Pirate King. So, take this article just as a form of entertainment.
