One Piece chapter 1128 has been recently leaked and it shows the Alabasta-era lineup of the Straw Hats trapped and shrunk by an unknown enemy. It has been theorized for a few days that the Sun God, who trapped them, is actually a member of the Holy Knights of the World Government, which means that the main cast could be having a reunion with Vivi.

This is because the Holy Knights have been seen going after Vivi thus far and perhaps have already trapped her, which is something that could be a reality. It would also make a lot of sense to trap the members of that classic One Piece arc as a way to goad Vivi or blackmail her, although this last part is heavy speculation.

Explaining how Vivi could be reuniting with the Straw Hats in the current One Piece arc

This theory suggests that the person, the so-called Sun God, is actually a member of the Holy Knights, the organization of warriors who serve the World Government. If that proves to be the case, then he has found a way to trap the Alabasta-era members of the Straw Hats and this could lay a ground for them to have a reunion with Vivi D. Nefertari.

That is because the Holy Knights are going after Vivi and could have trapped her already, especially considering that the CP0 let her go and the latter suffered a lot of losses during the Egghead arc. This could also explain why the members of that era of the Alabasta arc are separated from the rest of the crew and could end up having a reunion with Vivi.

The idea of Vivi reconnecting with the main characters has been long theorized since she has come back into the story and this could be the moment where that takes place. It is because author Eiichiro Oda revealed that she is a member of the D Clan and could have a pivotal role in the series moving forward, especially considering the connection of her ancestor Lili with Imu.

However, it is difficult to gauge what is going to be Vivi's role in the series now, with some claiming that she is going to join the Straw Hats and have a more political role. It could make a lot of sense, although this connection with Imu is likely to be very important in the coming arcs.
