One Piece: Vegapunk's message may yet be completed with the help of Strawhats

One Piece chapter 1117 had a significant cliffhanger by cutting off Vegapunk's message midway, although there is the possibility that the Straw Hats could recover it before the Egghead arc concludes. The message in question dealt with a lot of significant plot points in the series, such as the identity of Joy Boy, the events that led to the rise of the World Government, and even the very nature of the Will of D, which is something that most fans want to know.

One of the biggest possibilities in the One Piece manga at the moment is that the Straw Hats, through the help of Stussy, who is currently aligned with the main characters, could prove to be of great assistance. After all, she had been working with Vegapunk for quite some time, so she could be the key to that discovery and unlocking the truth to the world.

Considering that chapter 1117 of the manga showed how Dr. Vegapunk's message was cut midway because of the actions of the Gorosei, it is fairly obvious that author Eiichiro Oda is going to reveal what the famous genius had to say later on. And in that regard, there is a very good chance that could happen through the character of Stussy.

She served under the World Government for years but, in reality, she was working as Vegapunk's spy to get information, so it is very likely that she is going to be the one capable of finding a way around that message. It is also very possible that she knows most of the information Vegapunk knew, which is another possibility moving forward with the manga.

It is worth pointing out that this is all speculation but it is very unlikely that Stussy's time as a spy is going to be left to waste as that can be a very important plot point in this situation. There is also the fact of telling the Straw Hats the truth of the events of past centuries since that could play a pivotal role in what they are trying to achieve in the story.

The upcoming One Piece chapters are very likely to focus on the Straw Hats running away from Egghead now that the Giants of Elbaf are there and Luffy doesn't have enough energy to use his Gear 5 transformation.

Therefore, the main characters are cornered and their only choice is to run away from the confrontation at the moment.

It is also worth pointing out that the next few chapters could show the ramifications of Vegapunk's message since, while cut midway, it revealed a lot of facts that most people in the series were not aware of.

This could have a domino effect of sorts, especially when it comes to the members of the Marine who perhaps don't align with the World Government.
