One Punch Man fans could not contain their excitement as one of the most anticipated events seemed to have been set up in the latest chapter. Chapter 160 had a ton of action, and fans await the upcoming chapter which will confirm their suspicions.
The last time fans expected Saitama to face off against Garou, he completely ignored him and rushed towards Genos who was lying there since he was injured. Genos had a lot of missing parts and this worried the Caped Baldy.
However, he was relieved since Genos was able to talk and assured his master that he would be fine. But in the latest chapter of One Punch Man, it seems like Saitama is finally ready to take on the Hero Hunter, Garou.
One Punch Man: Breakdown of Chapter 160
One Punch Man is heading towards the end of the Monsters Association arc and fans are excited for it. It looks like Saitama will take on the Hero Hunter, who has received numerous power-ups in the series.
It is safe to say that the upcoming encounter will not be as anti-climactic as it was when they first met each other in the second season of One Punch Man. The first time he tried to attack Saitama, Garou couldn’t even manage to scratch him while the Caped Baldy knocked him out cold for getting in the way of his shopping.
However, let’s not forget that this manga specializes in creating build-ups for an event that is extremely anti-climactic, and such is the nature of the hero.
The possibility of Saitama not fighting Garou is also likely. However, the last panel suggests that he will indeeed take on Garou. The Hero Hunter is isolated and Saitama landed there with an expression of either frustration or anger.
It seems like the Caped Baldy is ready to take on Garou. It is funny that Saitama looked at Garou and asked him what he was. He either didn’t remember him from the time he kicked Garou or is enquiring about his appearance.
One Punch Man: Possible outcome of the fight
Saitama is much stronger now, and he even entertained Boros for a few minutes and defeated him in the end with ease. But Boros was strong enough for Saitama to acknowledge his strength. Garou is indeed one of the best villains in the series and some might argue that he is one of the best villains in anime as well.
However, if we compare his strength to the likes of Boros, he certainly falls short. Awakened Garou is ridiculously strong, but he isn’t stronger than Boros. Given how Saitama ended the fight with Boros, he has the ability to beat Garou in one punch, which seems like the most probable outcome of this matchup.
However, fans must take this with a grain of salt since the outcome of the fight is speculative and was decided based on Saitama’s performance in the past.
