One Punch Man chapter 203: Suiryu's attempt to approach Webigaza fails
One Punch Man chapter 203, titled 'Neo Leaders,' opened with Suiryu feeling bad for failing to join the same organization as Saitama. Metal Bat noticed what Suiryu said. Just then, McCoy interrupted their conversation, stating how the former Hero Association members had switched sides to Neo Heroes after being fed up with the organization's corrupted ways.
Wild Emperor agreed as the Hero Association only inducted heroes that could be put to use immediately. As for Neo Heroes, they were forward-thinking and made use of their training system to raise young people as heroes. In addition, even the people who trained them were all super top-class.
Just then, Superalloy Darkshine approached Metal Bat, Wild Emperor, Suiryu, and Sekingar. The heroes were surprised to see the former S-Class hero having transferred with them. That's when Darkshine revealed that he had retired as a hero and had joined the Neo Heroes as a trainer.
That's when a man started laughing at the Hero Association, stating how heroes with no guts could become part of the organization's S-Class Heroes. But that wasn't the case for the Neo Heroes. Metal Bat wished to beat up the man but was stopped by Sekingar. Just then, McCoy introduced the man to Ryumon, the leader of the Ryumon Gang, which has 400 members. While he was involved in organized crime, he seemingly now wished to put his resources to good use.
Just then, Axel approached Ryumon, stating how no matter what, one cannot erase Ryumon's former crimes. Axel was the leader of Hunters, a group of ordinary civilians with a proven record of taking down monsters. The Hunters' enrollment in the Neo Heroes should encourage more previously hesitant hero aspirants to take the plunge.
After that, One Punch Man chapter 203 introduced fans to Infelsinave, the founder of a church with over 3 million followers. Those followers will direct their support toward the Neo Heroes. The next Neo Leader was Zaedats, a wealthy man with a follower count of 40 million. The Neo Heroes was majorly funded by him. As for his hero activities, he allocated most of his budget to his equipment.
The next Neo Leader was Webigaza. As soon as she stepped into the room, Suiryu approached her. However, her ironed dress alarmed Suiryu as it was very hot. Webigaza was a highly popular idol with a crazy fan following. After a six-month hiatus during which she endured various human experiments, she had seemingly returned as an enhanced human. Her goal was to surpass Sweet Mask in popularity with her songs and hero work.
Right after, Wild Emperor and Metal Bat went over to her. Wild Emperor was her fan. As for Metal Bat, he wished to get Webigaza's autograph for her sister, who was a fan. But just as Superalloy Darkshine approached Webigaza, Raiden approached him, challenging his decision to retire as a hero.
