Fans have been highly anticipating One Punch Man chapter 209 since the release of the manga's previous chapter. The last chapter ended with Empty Void in his new form slicing up Blast all across his body. While there is hope for the S-Class Rank 1 Hero to survive, only the upcoming chapter can confirm it.

The previous chapter saw Empty Void return to Earth in his new form. Right after, the manga saw Blast going after his former partner by repeatedly using his portals to attack him from his blind spots. Unfortunately, the manga chapter ended with Empty Void chopping one of Blast's arms and slicing him all over his body.

What to expect from One Punch Man chapter 209?

Saitama could fight Empty Void in One Punch Man chapter 209

As seen in the previous chapter, S-Class Rank 1 Hero Blast was in no condition to continue fighting Empty Void after he lost his right arm and was slashed all across his body. With such a development, it would make much more sense if someone else were to fight the ninja village founder instead of him. However, as Flashy Flash and Speed-o'-Sound Sonic were far weaker than Empty Void, it makes sense for Saitama to join the fight.

As revealed by the manga, Saitama was last seen planning to have a meal alongside Manako. Considering the amount of time that has passed by now, there is a likely chance that he may get bored and join Blast and others on the battlefield in One Punch Man chapter 209. Such a development also coincides with the original webcomic that saw Saitama fight Empty Void.

With Blast's body covered with injuries, there is no way he could fight his former partner. With that in mind, Flashy Flash and Speed-o'-Sound Sonic could step onto the battlefield and try to fight Empty Void together.

As fans may remember, the two ninjas previously displayed excellent coordination while teaming up with each other. Therefore, the ongoing Ninjas Arc could possibly end with the two former friends defeating a strong enemy together.

Blast's injuries could be revealed to be fake in One Punch Man chapter 209

As revealed by the manga, Empty Void was more than capable of performing genjutsu. Thus, while Blast's body was covered with slashes, there is a chance that the visual was only one of Empty Void's genjutsu techniques at work.

While Empty Void can kill Blast with his new power-up, the chance that the manga will manifest such a development is next to none. This is because Blast has been trying to reverse his former partner's monsterification.

With that being the case, there is a much more likely chance that Empty Void still has a human side within him. If that is the case, he could refrain from hurting his former friend and could choose to scare him instead with a genjutsu.
