Ever since the One Punch Man anime introduced fans to its protagonist Saitama's workout, the character's exercise regime has become a timeless global moment. This is evident from how no matter what time of the year, whether the anime is airing or not, fans tend to follow the workout plan.

This is very surprising as One Punch Man season 2 ended nearly five years ago. Thus, there should be essentially no reason for fans to get hyped up for Saitama's workout plan. Nevertheless, fans have been posting their Saitama workout updates diligently on social media.

One Punch Man: What is Saitama's workout plan?

Saitama's workout plan is quite simple as none of the exercises require one to use any form of equipment. Thus, the exercises can be categorized as bodyweight exercises. The only requirement Saitama emphasized a lot during his explanation in the anime was consistency. He himself was seemingly following his "Intense Training Regime" for three years straight every day and asked Genos and the others to stay consistent as well.

Saitama's Intense Training Regime includes 100 push-ups, 100 sit-ups, 100 squats, and a 10-kilometer run. Evidently, this training regime was quite normal as none of the exercises were out of the ordinary.

With that, Saitama also stated that three meals in a day were absolutely necessary, although just a banana in the morning would suffice. In addition, he also stated that one must never use an air conditioner or heater in the summers and winters, respectively to help strengthen their mind.

While one could strengthen their mind by following a resolution, it really had nothing to do with the air conditioner and heater themselves. So, Saitama's workout plan should not be effective in helping one become as strong as the Caped Baldy.

Nevertheless, given that the training regime itself wasn't bad, fans often end up trying to follow it and posting about it on social media.

How fans showed their love for the workout plan

The workout plan has seemingly been very beneficial to the fans, as while they are very simple, they are also very effective. One fan shared how they were following the workout routine to get back into shape before they returned to the gym.

"Starting the One Punch Man workout today minus the run. Trying to get back into shape before I go back to gym next month," one fan said.
"Doing the one punch man workout has been fun. 100 pushups, 100 sit-ups, 100 squats and a 10k everyday. I dont do it everyday but I do execute 4/7 days. It’s actually not as challenging once you get past the first week," another fan said.

Another fan shared how they had been following the workout plan for quite some time. While they could not do it every day, they were executing it four times a week. Evidently, the workout is difficult at the start, but it does get easier.

"I did the 50% One Punch Man workout routine for a couple years a while back to great success but now my goal is to do 1000 pushups a day for a year," a fan wrote.
"One punch man workouts aren’t going too good—I can barely do ten pushups," another shared.

Another fan went above and beyond the workout plan as after following Saitama's workout routine for a couple of years, they were planning to push themselves with a target of even higher numbers. Meanwhile, other fans shared their experience, explaining how the workout plan wasn't as easy as it seemed.
