While many fans have theorized how Boruto must have obtained his Rasengan Uzuhiko Jutsu, the manga has yet to reveal the truth. However, as fans wait for it, one theory online suggests that the protagonist did not create it himself but learned about the same from the Uzumaki clan.

As revealed by the manga, Kashin Koji planned on teaching Boruto all that the Jutsu the protagonist would have ended up learning in the different possible futures. This information suggests that Rasengan Uzuhiko was also a Jutsu the protagonist derived from somewhere and not something he created from scratch.

For this, fans may need to take note of the Minato manga, which was released prior to the Boruto: Two Blue Vortex manga.

As fans might remember, before the Two Blue Vortex manga was released, manga creator Masashi Kishimoto released the Naruto: The Whorl Within the Spiral manga. This manga majorly revealed the origin of Minato Namikaze's Rasengan and why Kushina Uzumaki named it the same. In addition, the manga depicted the importance of the words "spiral" and "vortex" when concerned with the Uzumaki clan.

The sheer fact Masashi Kishimoto introduced fans to this information right before the Boruto: Two Blue Vortex manga was released could be a hint at the protagonist's Rasengan Uzuhiko having some connection with the Uzumaki clan. With that, there is reason to believe that the protagonist's latest jutsu could be one that originates from the Uzumaki clan.

As revealed by the manga, Kashin Koji planned on teaching Boruto all the jutsu that he does end up learning in all possible futures. This is how the protagonist ended up learning the Flying Raijin Jutsu. With that in mind, there is a chance that Rasengan Uzuhiko was also a jutsu that Kashin Koji saw as a future version of Boruto mastering. So, how did the future version of the protagonist learn Rasengan Uzuhiko?

As fans must remember, just as the Two Blue Vortex manga began, fans started theorizing that the protagonist must have time-traveled to learn about the horrors of the Ten-Tails. While the actual protagonist may have never attained this feat, his future version may have actually gone back to the past and learned the jutsu from the Uzumaki clan.

While this theory may seem absurd to fans, they should remember that while the Uzumaki Clan was destroyed, it was never clearly revealed who attacked the clan members. As per a theory by Kashy Kage on YouTube, the Otsutsuki Clan may have been responsible for this. This is because they must have viewed the Uzumaki Clan's Uzuhiko Jutsu as a threat to their lives. Hence, they wiped them out before they could be targeted.

As for the alternate future version of the protagonist, he might have time-traveled to the past and learned the Rasengan Uzuhiko from his fellow clan members. This development must have allowed Kashin Koji to teach the same jutsu to the protagonist later.
