Oshi no Ko chapter 154 spoilers: Hikaru watches Ai's DVD as the true meaning behind the '15 Year Lie' is revealed

The alleged Oshi no Ko chapter 154 spoilers were supposed to reveal the contents of Ai Hoshino's DVD. Needless to say, the alleged spoilers did not disappoint, as they revealed the contents of Ai's DVD that she gave to Gotanda to hand over to Aqua. With that, the manga unveiled the true meaning behind "15 Year Lie."

The previous chapter saw Hikaru Kamiki reveal his true relationship with Ai. While he loved Ai, she did not reciprocate it and even left him at a time of need. Hence, out of spite, Hikaru got her killed. That's when Aqua hinted to Hikaru that he had misinterpreted the meaning behind the film's title, suggesting that Ai's DVD had the contents to unveil the same.

The alleged Oshi no Ko chapter 154 spoilers picked up from the previous chapter's end as Hikaru questioned Ai's request not to meet her again. That's when Ai revealed that she was pregnant with his child. Upon learning this, Hikaru suggested that they get married. Unfortunately, Ai could not see herself getting married to him, as it would burden her a lot.

Taiki Himekawa, Hikaru's son with Airi Himekawa, was a major reason behind this. The fact that the father of her soon-to-be-born children already had a child with someone else was too much for her to handle. Hence, Ai asked Hikaru to end their relationship, expressing that she could not fall in love with him. As for Hikaru, he accepted the outcome, as it was inevitable for Ai to break up with him following his actions.

Oshi no Ko chapter 154 spoilers then switched to the present as Hikaru Kamiki revealed to Aqua that, while he gave Ryosuke the address to Ai Hoshino's home, he only wished for her to feel her despair by getting scared. He never thought that the incident would escalate to murder.

He revealed how the initial screening was seemingly incomplete, as he was still discussing with the other staff members if they should include the footage inside Ai's DVD in the movie's end credits.

Right after, Oshi no Ko chapter 154 spoilers switched to Aqua and Hikaru together watching the content within Ai's DVD. The video was directed toward Aqua, as Ai could be seen revealing the reason why she broke up with his father, Hikaru Kamiki.

According to Ai, Hikaru Kamiki had reached his limit. The entertainment industry had tainted him and made him into a person entirely dependent on her. Amidst all this, she found out that she was pregnant, which is why she said all those things to him. Thus, the reason she broke up with Hikaru was not to burden him further.

She wanted him to fall in love with someone and be happy, even if they were not together. Regardless, this feeling left her anxious. Ai believed that lying was a form of love. At first, she was even afraid of giving birth to Aqua and Ruby but deep down, she still wanted to stay with him forever. She wanted to share the burden of walking into the future with his children. That was the first time she wanted to love someone. With that, Ai asked Aqua if what she said back then to Hikaru was a lie or not.

This was why the movie was titled "15 Year Lie." The movie wasn't referring to the secret behind Ai's death but was a love letter from Ai to Hikaru that transcended time. Additionally, the movie also acted as an act of revenge for Aqua and Ruby against Hikaru for not understanding Ai.
