With the release of Oshi no Ko chapter 155, Aqua and Ruby completed their revenge on their father, Hikaru Kamiki. While Aqua previously wished to kill Hikaru, Ruby wanted to forgive her father, hence Aqua did the same. Just as everything seemed done and dusted, Aqua set his eyes on a new target.

The previous chapter saw Aqua Hoshino reveal the contents of Ai's DVD to Hikaru Kamiki. Ai previously lied to Hikaru that she could never love him. In reality, Ai knew that Hikaru was at the limit. Hence, she decided to part ways with him to not burden him with her pregnancy. The fact that she loved him but lied to him that she didn't was the "15-Year Lie."

Oshi no Ko chapter 155: Akane Kurokawa switches back to her original hairstyle

Oshi no Ko chapter 155, titled 'Happy End,' opened with Aqua Hoshino realizing that his mother Ai never mentioned Hikaru Kamiki's name in the video and worried about him the entire time. Moments later, Hikaru Kamiki, who remained speechless, got up and began leaving the room. Aqua asked where he was headed. In response, he stated that he was set to do what he could for Ai.

Ruby Hoshino tried to stop him but Aqua stopped her as Ruby was already done with her revenge through the film's final scene. Soon after, Aqua and Ruby returned to their home. Upon entering, Miyako Saitou asked them if they were done with their business. The moment she heard Ruby say yes, she welcomed her children back home with tears in her eyes. Seeing this, Ruby immediately hugged her adoptive mother.

As for Aqua Hoshino, Miyako asked him to join them. She knew Aqua suppressed his emotions, hence she forced him into a hug. While Miyako did not know the full details, she knew her son was always twisting himself for others despite being in pain. Thus, Miyako expressed that she was proud of Aqua. Hearing those words caused Aqua to let go of his emotions and start crying.

Oshi no Ko chapter 155 then switched to Aqua and Ichigo Saitou as both planned on killing Hikaru Kamiki. Aqua revealed that he still wished to kill his father. However, his sister, who had gone through the same ordeal as him, wanted to forgive their father. Thus, they chose to take that path.

As for Ichigo, he did not want to go against Ruby who had inherited Ai's dream, thus he too gave up on killing Hikaru. Moreover, with B-Komachi's live tour set to start the following week, Ichigo was very busy advertising the idol group.

Oshi no Ko chapter 155 then switched to Akane Kurokawa and Aqua Hoshino as Akane got her hair cut short similar to the start of the series. She revealed that she changed her hairstyle as she no longer needed to imitate Ai Hoshino. Right after, Akane started wondering what would happen after the happy end. But Aqua immediately stopped her.

Both Aqua and Akane knew that if Hikaru Kamiki was behind everything, then a lot of things didn't make sense. There is no way Hikaru Kamiki alone would have been responsible for the deaths of Ryosuke Sugano, Yuta Katayose, and Gorou Amamiya. Thus, Aqua deduced that there was one more person involved in their deaths.

As per Aqua, the person would be none other than former B-Komachi idol and Ai superfan, Nino, also known as Fuyuko Niino.
