With the release of Oshi no Ko chapter 157, the manga series switched its focus to Ruby and Aqua as they spent their free day together relaxing amidst their busy schedules at work. Through this, the manga tried to shed some light on their relationship as loving siblings.

The previous chapter focused on Mem-Cho, as she feared her real age getting out. Hence, she did a live stream to reveal to her audience that she had lied to them about their age. Nevertheless, she didn't reveal her real age, causing a good buzz around her on the internet.

Oshi no Ko chapter 157: B-Komachi live tour begins

Oshi no Ko chapter 157, titled 'An Ordinary Day, A Wonderful Day,' saw the reborn B-Komachi performing their live tour in Nagoya, Miyagi and Osaka, all within 18 days.

This schedule left Ruby Hoshino exhausted as she ranted about the same to her brother. The performances themselves were tiring, but they also needed to make television and radio show appearances. With such a tight schedule, they couldn't even purchase local souvenirs.

Right after hearing Ruby rant, Aqua Hoshino asked her if she was free for the day. Considering that both siblings were free, Ruby suggested that they spend the day together relaxing at home. While Aqua was fine with the plan, he wondered if Ruby wished to take a breather with her friends, but Ruby wished to relax at home.

As the two siblings spent their day together, Aqua asked his sister Ruby if it was fun being an idol. Ruby found it really exhausting, but it was also fun. It's a life she couldn't imagine back in her life as Sarina Tendouji at the hospital. Thus, no matter how tiring the work was, she was having fun.

Ruby then went on to list what Aqua had done in the entertainment industry. He had been part of a TV drama and a reality dating show. Moreover, the siblings had together been part of a variety show and a movie.

With such a rise, Ruby was certain that she would soon be able to perform at the Tokyo Dome. Every day had been busy fun, but ordinary days were also wonderful as long as she had her brother with her.

Following this, Oshi no Ko chapter 157 saw Aqua suggest to Ruby Hoshino that they prepare dinner for the day. They usually had Miyako Saitou take care of it. Hence, Aqua wished to surprise her on their day off. The manga then gave fans glimpses of Aqua and Ruby shopping for groceries and preparing dinner.

Following the preparations, Aqua and Ruby took a breather, which is when they happened to doze away. Just then, Miyako Saitou returned home to find a nice aroma fill the home. Right after, she spotted Aqua and Ruby and wondered what they were dreaming.
