Oshi no Ko chapter 162, titled Aqua Hoshino, saw Hikaru Kamiki drown to his death. He was hit in the head by a rock and found it difficult to keep himself afloat. At the same moment, Gorou Amamiya's shadowy hands emerged from behind Hikaru and pulled him deep into the water. Hikaru wanted to kill Ruby to feel Ai more but met his end.

As for Aqua Hoshino, he was certain about his death. During this, he also deduced that he was reincarnated as Ai's son to protect his sister, Ruby Hoshino. But most importantly, Aqua was glad that unlike last time, he was going to die before Ruby.

Oshi no Ko chapter 163 will most likely reveal if Aqua Hoshino survived his fall into the waterbody. Given the circumstances, it seems very possible that Aqua will die and leave behind Ruby to achieve her dream of performing at the Tokyo Dome.

However, if Aka Akasaka and Mengo Yokoyari do manage to save Aqua through a plot twist, the manga could possibly end on a happy note. That aside, the series has yet to explain Crow Girl's role in the series.
