Oshi no Ko chapter 164 will be released on Thursday, October 31, 2024, at 12 am JST. With that in mind, the alleged spoilers for the same should have dropped only a few days before the chapter's official release. However, the manga leakers have managed to uncover some initial spoilers for the chapter a bit early.

The previous chapter saw Aqua seeing a dream where Sarina recovered from her illness and grew up to be a B-Komachi idol alongside Ai Hoshino. Upon seeing this, Aqua questioned his identity and whether his decision was incorrect. Crow Girl consoled him, conveying that he was "Aqua Hoshino."

According to the alleged initial spoilers of Oshi no Ko chapter 164, the upcoming manga chapter will pick up from where the previous chapter ended. As seen in the previous chapter, Aqua and Crow Girl were in a limbo-like space. Crow Girl was responsible for this as she seemingly borrowed Aqua's consciousness to show him the dream from the last chapter.

As for Aqua Hoshino, he was still drowning. He started feeling cold, suffocated, uncomfortable, and in pain. He then thinks about B-Komachi singing beautifully. Thinking about the girls performing at the concert helped calm him down. Right after Oshi no Ko chapter 164, initial spoilers saw Aqua Hoshino pass away with a smile on his face.

Oshi no Ko chapter 164 initial spoilers then switched to a fishing boat 20 kilometers away from the crime scene as they pulled out a well-preserved floating body due to the cold weather. Aqua's plan was seemingly flawless as the police and the public were completely outwitted by the protagonist's extraordinary brilliance. The crime story about Hikaru and Aqua's death became a major news story.

After hearing this news, Kana Arima was left shocked as her eyes turned completely black. Right after, Oshi no Ko chapter 164 initial spoilers switched to Akane Kurokawa. After learning about Aqua's death, she strolled to the seashore with flowers. She alone saw through Aqua's "brilliant strategy" and marveled at the depth of his wisdom and resolve in his decision.

As per Akane Kurokawa's monologue, she did not expect Aqua to go to such lengths to protect Ruby Hoshino's future. Even before, when they split ways on Christmas Day, she was certain that Aqua was going to return. He had hope for the future and didn't want to die at all. So, it didn't make sense to Akane that Aqua would sacrifice himself.

The only deduction she could come up with was that Aqua lied to her as he did not want Akane's help. However, had he asked her for help, she would have happily helped him set up the perfect crime scene.

Final thoughts

Aqua's quest for vengeance had consumed and even he had come to realize it towards the end. The Oshi no Ko chapter 164 spoilers showed him dreaming of Ai and Sarina sharing the stage, a whimsical final thought in his final moments. Although he was prepared to sacrifice himself for the sake of Ruby, he would still have no doubt wanted to continue living. However, his unwillingness to take help, even from Akane, who would stoop to any low for him, showed his resolve to end everything with himself.

The official release will give readers a better idea of what transpires following Aqua's death and how different characters deal with the news. With few chapters left, the mangaka will surely try tying any loose ends of the story.
