Oshi no Ko chapter 164 will be released on Thursday, October 31, 2024, at 12 am JST. With the manga inching closer to its end, the series' remaining chapters will be released weekly with no breaks in between. Oshi no Ko manga will be available to read on Shueisha's MANGA Plus.

The previous chapter saw Crow Girl show Aqua a dream of Sarina recovering from her illness and growing up to become a B-Komachi idol alongside Ai Hoshino. Following this, Aqua began questioning his identity and decisions. In response, Crow Girl consoled him, letting him know that he was always "Aqua Hoshino."

According to Shueisha's MANGA Plus website, Oshi no Ko chapter 164 will be released on Wednesday, October 30, 2024, in most countries worldwide. As for Japan, the manga chapter will be released on Thursday, October 31, 2024, at 12 am JST.

The reason the manga has different release dates is due to the difference in time zones of different countries.

Oshi no Ko chapter 163, titled You, saw Crow Girl showing Aqua a dream of Sarina Tendouji recovering from her disease, reuniting with her family, and growing up to become a B-Komachi idol alongside Ai Hoshino.

This dream left Aqua questioning his identity, as he was uncertain about which part of him felt happy after seeing the dream, Aqua or Gorou. Additionally, Aqua started questioning his decision, as his death would have only caused trouble to his sister and friends.

Hence, Crow Girl consoled Aqua and conveyed to him that his feelings were his own and that he had always been "Aqua Hoshino."

Oshi no Ko chapter 164 will most likely confirm Aqua Hoshino's status. While he disappeared from the limbo-like space in the previous chapter, the manga has yet to clarify whether the protagonist died or survived.

In addition, depending on which of the above two possible developments takes place, the manga will likely reveal the reactions of those who are close to Aqua, especially Kana Arima and Akane Kurokawa. As for Ruby, the manga could dedicate an entire chapter to her reaction.
