As for Ruby Hoshino, the media considered her story worth telling. Her story of a murderer as a father and brother who drowned captivated people and drew their attention to her. While in hindsight, this was bad, it also brought Ruby good fortune as she attained her dream of performing at the Tokyo Dome.

The new B-Komachi got to live the dream that the original B-Komachi had set, according to the Oshi no Ko chapter 166. After Kana Arima's retirement, the idol group brought in two girls to replace her and performed on the big stage as Akane and Kana cheered them from the audience.

Ruby Hoshino stood firm on the stage, becoming the morning star that illuminated the darkness, lighting up the little girl hidden in the shadow of the stage.

"This is the future illuminated by you two for me. Here I go!"

Oshi no Ko chapter 166 initial spoilers then switched to the final scene. The manga showed Aqua and Ai-themed merchandise on Ruby's desk as she could be seen leaving for work at 5:30 am in the dawn. While every day was filled with lies, no matter how painful it was, being an idol was a job that brought her unparalleled joy. Ruby was grateful to Ai and Aqua for illuminating this future for her.
