Oshi no Ko season 2 episode 1 release date and time
As revealed by the anime's official website, Oshi no Ko season 2 episode 1 is set to be released on Wednesday, July 3, 2024, at 11 PM JST. That said, the anime is set to have an early screening for its first episode on Sunday, June 30, 2024, in theaters in Japan.
The main screening will be in Marunouchi Piccadilly in Tokyo. It will be attended by the series' voice cast members - Takeo Ootsuka, Igoma Yurie, Manaka Iwami, and Rumi Ookubo. Neki Matsuzawa will act as the MC. Megumi Han was set to join the screening as well but had to cancel due to ill health.

What to expect from Oshi no Ko season 2 episode 1?
The final episode of the anime's first season hinted at the Tokyo Blade Stage Play. During the episode, the anime confirmed that Aqua Hoshino was cast as Touki, Akane Kurokawa was cast as Princess Saya, and Kana Arima was cast as Tsurugi for the stage play. While the other cast members haven't been announced, Raida Sumiaki's scene hinted that Producer Kaburagi Masaya had made some proposals for the same.
Hence, the upcoming Oshi no Ko season 2 will start adapting the 2.5D Stage Play story arc. With that, the anime's first episode could reveal the remaining cast members and roles for the Tokyo Blade Stage Play. Hence, fans expect to see Melt Narushima make his return. Joining him will be Taiki Himekawa and Sakuya Kamoshida. Additionally, fans could also catch glimpses of GOA, Toshirou Kindaichi, and the "Tokyo Blade" manga creator Abiko Samejima.
