Oshi no Ko season 2 episode 11, titled 'Freedom,' saw Aqua go out with Kana Arima to shop for a travel bag. Despite the outing not being a date, Aqua made sure to please Kana. Evidently, Kana was happy but was worried about Aqua's fake relationship with Akane.

The episode later saw Aqua try to end his fake relationship with Akane. During this, Akane realized that she wasn't certain about her feelings for Aqua. Later in the conversation, Aqua expressed to Akane all that he had found out about his father. However, Akane spotted an obvious flaw in the story.

The episode ended with Ruby visiting her mother's grave. Just as she was leaving the graveyard, a man was seen referring to her as his child with Ai.
