Oshi no Ko season 2 episode 3 is set to be released on Wednesday, July 17, 2024. However, the anime released the preview images for the same days before its premiere. The upcoming episode, titled 'Rewriting,' will be available to stream globally on HIDIVE.
The previous episode revealed some of the events that took place before the rehearsals for the Tokyo Blade Stage Play began. This included Melt apologizing to Kana for his poor acting previously. The anime later revealed what goes wrong behind the scenes during an adaptation production through Abiko Samejima and Goa's conflict. Ultimately, the stage play rehearsals were postponed.

Aqua's date with Akane is set to motivate him to help Goa in Oshi no Ko season 2 episode 3
The anime's previous episode ended with Akane Kurokawa asking Aqua Hoshino out on a date to watch a stage play on a circular stage. Seemingly, the theater is the same as the one for Tokyo Blade, which is quite different from the traditional stages. Moreover, the stage play Aqua and Akane will watch is written by Goa.
Fortunately, Aqua Hoshino will love the stage play and will be convinced by Goa's ability to write a script. Hence, he will try to help the scriptwriter get recast in his role as the Tokyo Blade Stage Play's scriptwriter. For this, he may either ask for help from Raida Sumiaki, Yoriko Kichijouji, or both.
Yoriko Kichijouji might confront Abiko Samejima for her actions in Oshi no Ko season 2 episode 3
As evident from Oshi no Ko season 2 episode 3 preview, Yoriko Kichijouji is set to help her former assistant, Abiko Samejima, with her manga. However, both manga creators look very serious during this scene. Thus, there is a chance that Aqua must have contacted Yoriko to help Goa.
With that in mind, Yoriko might confront Abiko in the next episode about how she treated Goa during the stage play rehearsals. Given the two manga creators' history, they might hurt each other through their words.
Ruby Hoshino will feel restless in Oshi no Ko season 2 episode 3
Ruby Hoshino is finally set to have some extended scenes in Oshi no Ko season 2 episode 3. While the preview did not reveal the plotline surrounding Ruby, the anime's previously released trailer revealed that she was frustrated by the low number of gigs she had as an idol.
Hence, she is set to complain about the same to Miyako Saitou. Mem-Cho will suggest something to her, but it will not be up to Ruby's taste.
