Oshi no Ko season 2 episode 4 is set to be released on Wednesday, July 24, 2024, at 11 pm JST. The anime will first air on TOKYO MX, followed by other television networks. Right after, the anime will be available to stream internationally on HIDIVE.

The previous episode saw Aqua Hoshino realize how a circular stage worked. Upon learning about it, he realized Abiko's script would not do it justice. Hence, he tried to help GOA retain his scriptwriter position by contacting Abiko Samejima's senior, Yoriko Kichijouji.

As revealed by the anime's official website, Oshi no Ko season 2 episode 4 will be released on Wednesday, July 24, 2024, at 11 pm JST. Fortunately, due to the anime's simulrelease schedule, the series will release its episodes in all countries on the same day.

Oshi no Ko season 2 episode 4 will first broadcast on TOKYO MX. This will be followed by other television networks in Japan like BS11, TV Aichi, TV Hokkaido, and others. As for streaming options, the anime will be available to watch online in Japan on ABEMA, Hulu, Anime Times, Disney Plus, and others.

As for international streaming, Oshi no Ko season 2 episode 4 will be available online on HIDIVE. Oshi no Ko season 2 episode 3, titled 'Adaptation,' saw Aqua realize the difference between a circular and a traditional stage. Thus, after speaking with Raida Sumiaki, he decided to help GOA retain his position as the scriptwriter. For this, he arranged a meeting with Yoriko Kichijouji.

Aqua knew that given Abiko's environment, she would only listen to someone in the same field, i.e., Yoriko. Thus, Aqua and Akane requested Yoriko to help them. However, Yoriko understood how Abiko felt, hence, she refused. Right after, Aqua Hoshino played his final card, asking Yoriko to hand over a stage play ticket to Abiko.

When Yoriko met Abiko, she realized she needed help with her deadline and health. Hence, she helped her out all while speaking to her. This conversation revealed how cruel the manga industry was and what a creator has to go through weekly. Fortunately, Yoriko helped Abiko meet the deadline, following which she handed over the stage play ticket.

What to expect from Oshi no Ko season 2 episode 4?

Oshi no Ko season 2 episode 4 will be titled Emotional Acting. The preview trailer for the episode showcases Abiko sparkly-eyed after watching a play written by GOA. After witnessing the play, she decides that it is the right decision to leave everything in his hands. However, she decides to leave things in his hands only on one condition.

As GOA accepts the conditions, the writer is accepted as the scriptwriter for Tokyo Blade again. After the script for the play is complete, it creates problems for the cast of the play, as indicated by the preview synopsis. Will the new script see Akane with a major role or will some other cast member be sacrificed in the condition given by Abiko sensei?
