Oshi no Ko season 2 episode 4, titled 'Emotional Acting,' saw Raida finally convince Abiko to let Goa work on the stage play script. However, she wanted to oversee it while it was edited. Hence, Raida arranged for a video call and cloud sharing so that they could work on the script together. With their collective effort, they made a brilliant script. The problem was that it was devoid of narrative explanation and relied on the actors' ability to showcase emotions.

Given the expectations from the revamped script, Aqua tried Emotional Acting with Kana Arima's suggestion. As he remembered his happy memories, his past, i.e., Gorou stopped him, as he did not want Aqua to feel happy after failing to save Ai. This event saw Aqua suffer from PTSD, following which Akane took him to Taishi Gotanda's home to rest. There, after Akane learned about a traumatic incident in Aqua's past, she deduced him to be the son of the late B-Komachi idol Ai.

Oshi no Ko season 2 episode 5 will most likely see Aqua Hoshino and Akane Kurokawa start working together to improve their acting skills. Both actors wished to outdo Taiki Himekawa and Kana Arima. Hence, they could work on their acting together after their usual rehearsals.

Additionally, the upcoming episode could also focus on Ruby Hoshino, as she may try to understand what was going on with her brother. While Aqua might not reveal what happened to him at the rehearsals, Ruby might notice subtle hints at the same time.
