Oshi no Ko season 2 episode 6, titled 'Growing,' saw the Tokyo Blade Stage Play finally begin. In the beginning, the anime gave fans an idea of the story's premise, following which it switched its focus to Melt Narushima and Sakuya Kamoshida's scene. Melt was looking inexperienced next to Kamoshida as Yoriko Kichijouji looked at him with the harshest eyes.

The anime then delved into Melt Narushima's past and how he got into the show business. He knew he was nowhere close in skill to his co-stars, hence he followed Aqua's advice and dazzled fans by bringing one of the manga panels to life. Oshi no Ko season 2 episode 7 will be titled Solar. After the completion of the first part of the Tokyo Blade stage play in the previous episode, the next episode will commence with the second phase of the stage play, focused on the clash between the characters played by Arima Kanna and Kurokawa Akane.

As revealed by Akane in one of the previous episodes, Kana inspired her to enter the acting industry but, as indicated by the preview synopsis, Akane faced the harsh reality of this industry which will be revealed in the episode. So, the next episode will heavily focus on the flashback between Kana and Akane, with cuts of them from the Tokyo Blade stage play.
