The premise of the series
As mentioned earlier, the series focuses on an endless war between two kingdoms, which have become the prominent lands of this world. The people of the Heavenly Empire have become known because of their technology and advancements, with the character of Iska serving as the unofficial leader of the Heavenly Empire's 907th Unit, who ends up losing his position after saving a witch.
On the other hand, there is the land of the Nebulis Sovereignty, which has become known due to its magic users, with the character of Aliceliese Lou Nebulis IX being the next one to reach the throne.
However, she eventually runs into Iska several times earlier in the story and they fight each other despite the fact both want this war to end without any deaths.
The more they meet each other, the more they develop feelings for one another, with the first season slowly showing their growth as individuals. And as the story progresses, they try to find a solution to this war.
