This last episode was a lot more lighthearted than the first one for the most part, which was focused on Iska and Alice meeting each other for the first time in this season. Both characters went even further with their interest in each other, with Alice even stating how she wanted to feel closer to him.
Perhaps the most interesting part to many people was the sequence by the end of the episode where Elletear and the Queen were talking about conspiracies among the royal family when they were attacked, with the final scene being the arrival of the Holy Disciples into the plot.

Recap of the previous episode
This second episode of the series' return focused mainly on how Iska and Alice met for the first time in this season when they were looking for ice cream. The following scenes were mostly comedy-focused as Alice and Rin were stalking Iska and Sisbell, with the former getting more and more jealous in the process.
However, as Alice, one of the princesses of the magic users land known as Nebulis, took notice of this, Rin eventually reached out to Iska and Alice on her behalf. This resulted in Iska and Alice meeting in private where the latter revealed to be jealous and shared an intimate moment that was ruined by Rin.
The biggest moment of the episode, though, came in the form of Elletear and the Queen getting attacked by who seemed to be the Masked Man. There was also the cliffhanger of the Holy Disciples stepping in.

Now that the most recent episodes have worked as refreshers of previous storylines, there is a good chance that the next one is going to be a bit more battle-driven. The Holy Disciples are bound to get involved in the conflict between the two conflicts and there is also the mystery of the assault that the Queen went through.
