In Plus-Sized Elf episode 1, viewers will be introduced to Tomoatsu Naoe, a professional osteopathic massage therapist who will cross paths with Elfuda, an elf who has arrived from a different world through a portal.

However, during her stay in this world, she has gained some weight because of the kind of food available in this world. She is particularly fond of French fries. To return to her home world, she must shed the extra pounds. So, she seeks help from Naoe. As the series progresses, viewers will see more characters from the fantasy world who, like Elfuda, are struggling with weight issues and need help.

The series, despite being known to a niche audience, is quite funny and presents an interesting twist on the typical isekai genre. Instead of the usual premise of everyday characters being reborn in fantasy worlds, in this anime, viewers will see various characters from a fantasy world end up in the ordinary human world. This will lead to numerous conflicts, battles, and a significant amount of humor.
