Plus-Sized Elf episode 7: A brief synopsis
In Plus-Sized Elf episode 7, it is revealed that Elfuda has been working out non-stop to drop some weight and has gotten noticeably slimmer. This is because she wants to visit her home again. As Naoe ponders what Elfuda's family might be like, they walk past a fast-food restaurant. Elfuda, feeling proud of her accomplishment, insists on a small treat to celebrate.
When they walk into the restaurant, Satero greets them and tells them that they are the 10,000th customer, which entitles them to a year's supply of free French fries. Elfuda orders ten servings of fries right away, which makes Satero's eyes as she mischievously smiles.
Later, Kuroeda and Oga drop by to check in on Naoe and Elfuda, only to find that both have put on an impressive amount of weight. They immediately suspect the Satyr is behind this. Just then, the Satyr shows up and says her revenge is only partially complete. She has fattened up Elfuda and Naoe as part of her plan to humiliate Elfuda for the trouble she caused her. But Elfuda shows no shame, so the Satyr bails on her plan.
Next, in Plus-Sized Elf episode 7, everyone is seen boxing. The idea is to make working out a fun and enjoyable activity. They all give sparring a try, which is a form of training where no hitting is involved. But they quickly become exhausted from training against Naoe.
When it is Oga's turn to spar, Naoe becomes intimidated by her size and strength and decides not to face her. Feeling dejected, Oga sits in a corner until a cyclops named Hitome appears, showing an interest in boxing. Naoe suggests that Hitome spar with Oga, unaware that giants have a long-standing antagonistic history. But it is too late to stop them, and they begin fighting to establish dominance.
Plus-Sized Elf episode 7 review
In Plus-Sized Elf episode 7, it is once again hilarious to see how a professional physical therapist, whose job is to manage everyone's diet, ends up as a junk food lover who gets overweight and needs help from others.
The enmity between Elfuda and her friends against the Satyr adds an enjoyable element to the story, as the malice is not overtly manifest, and the Satyr's schemes are ultimately thwarted. It leaves viewers hoping that the Satyr will make a return in future episodes.
Plus-Sized Elf episode 7 also stands out for being more plot-driven compared to other episodes, which tend to be focused on executing the gags. The episode is also not that invested in providing educational information about diets and workouts.
While all of this makes for a rather engaging viewing experience, the episode does not reveal the outcome of the boxing match between Oga and Hitome. However, this cliffhanger is a great way to build anticipation for the next episode, as fans will be excited to see how the conflict between the two giants will play out.
