Chainsaw Man Part 2 expanded its lineup of Devils with newer additions that continued to underscore the dark and imaginative world Tatsuki Fujimoto has crafted. From petrifying embodiments of primal fears to shrewd Devils with complex motivations, the series never took a break from amazing us with its depiction of these otherworldly entities.

Chainsaw Man Part 2 built on the lore of Devils along with raising the stakes as the protagonists faced off against increasingly powerful and unpredictable foes. This ranking dives into 10 of the most formidable Devils seen in Chainsaw Man Part 2. Be it the Falling Devil's gravity-defying powers or the Famine Devil's unsettling nature, each of these Devils considerably affected the plot.

10) Justice Devil

Kicking off this ranking for Chainsaw Man Part 2 is the Justice Devil. Creator Tatsuki Fujimoto surprised everyone by having another Devil (explained below) pose as the Justice Devil. But the real Justice Devil appeared during the Falling Devil Arc as a secondary antagonist. Its name was being used by many to contract with the Fire Devil and grow its strength, especially the Chainsaw Man Church.

Not much is known of this Devil, apart from it embodying the fear of Justice. It is likely that it possesses all standard Devil abilities. That aside, it is immensely strong and fast, capable of regenerating at an incredible rate and can also shapeshift—limbs become giant hammers, create a jaw on its belly, etc. This Devil wasn't explored much as it was killed during the Falling Devil's attack.

9) Fire Devil

Fujimoto did a brilliant job in adding a little confusion around the Fire Devil in Chainsaw Man Part 2. Embodying the fear of fire, the Fire Devil appeared in the Justice Devil Arc and posed as the Justice Devil itself. Very little is known about this Devil, besides its contract with Yuko and the class president. These were under the impression that they were contracting with Justice instead.

The Fire Devil's main power in Chainsaw Man Part 2 was seemingly Desire Granting. Those who contracted with it could transform into whatever they desired. Since it deceived many into believing it was the Justice Devil, their forms turned out grotesque and monstrous (Yuko, class president). It also possesses Collective Empowerment, growing stronger the more it is contracted with.

8) Weaponized Gun and Tank Devils

Surprising but powerful additions to the Chainsaw Man Part 2 plot, Yoru reintroduced the Gun and Tank Devils. For context, Yoru had attacked a rampaging Pochita but was swiftly dealt with. Left with no options, she called upon her "children," i.e., Gun and Tank, to become her weapons in the form of gauntlets. With them, she was able to blast Pochita away effortlessly.

Not to be mistaken, the Gun and Tank Devils on their own are undoubtedly strong Devils. However, made into gauntlets by their "mother" and her guilt from doing so in Chainsaw Man Part 2 seemed to enhance their power. By merely pointing her finger and mouthing "Bang!" Yoru was able to blow holes through buildings altogether, which left Pochita with just his head and torso.

7) Control Devil

Nayuta was the Control Devil's reincarnation following Makima's demise. It is safe to say that she was the closest to Denji in Chainsaw Man Part 2 and protected him with her life. It was her death (speculated) that caused Denji to unleash Pochita's Devil form in a fit of rage, thus beginning the rampage. But prior to that, the pair were nearly inseparable and drove a considerable bit of the story.

Speaking of abilities, Nayuta possesses similar abilities to Makima but hasn't awakened their full extent. So far, she has shown the ability to alter memories (both Humans and Devils) and perceptions (change one's perception of senses). What makes her strong is her chain link, able to use 3 simultaneously and control them as she pleases.

6) Quanxi

Introduced in chapter 54, Quanxi made an emphatic return in Chainsaw Man Part 2, which pleased many. Since her introduction, she has been a fan favorite. Termed as "The First Devil Hunter" and being the Bow Hybrid, Quanxi has seemingly been built for battle. Calm and stoic, she is ruthless when it comes to combat, thinking on her feet and expertly reacting to situations as they develop.

She returns during the Chainsaw Man Church Arc to rescue Denji and company. Quanxi later makes an appearance at the beginning of the current arc, tasked with stopping Asa and Fami from saving Denji. Here, she displays her immense battle prowess by easily overpowering the trio of Yoru, Katana Man, and the Nail Fiend. As seen in Part 1, her abilities are as sharp as ever.

5) Aging Devil

Chainsaw Man Part 2's Aging Devil has proven to be quite a sinister addition to the roster of already peculiar characters. Embodying the primal fear of aging, this Devil might be apathetic to any life forms but seems to detest youth, as they don't fear it. This is what led to its twisted contract involving the sacrifice of thousands of Japanese children.

Its abilities are being revealed gradually. The Aging Devil has shown the ability to manipulate Time (stopping Yoru's bullet), rapidly age something out of existence, Remote Harm (sacrifice human body parts to damage a target), Hell Connection, and the ability to send its foes to its world—a place where time flows differently and instead of dying, people become trees by attaining higher knowledge.

4) War Devil

A necessary addition, Yoru the War Devil, too, finds herself on this list. Sharing a body with Asa Mitaka in Chainsaw Man Part 2, Yoru has shown why she is more than capable of being part of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. Recently, by turning her "children," the Gun and Tank Devils, into gauntlets, she gained a massive boost.

Moreover, through Asa, her ability to turn nearly anything into a weapon and use it effectively points at her prowess. However, there is a caveat, though—she is not complete. As per the series lore, Pochita consumed a part of her, thereby erasing War to some extent and weakening her. Had Yoru been the complete Devil, she would rank higher on this list.

3) Famine Devil

Fami (Image via Viz Media)

Fami, or the Famine Devil, yet stands as Chainsaw Man Part 2's most puzzling and interesting character. Introduced in chapter 108, she posed as a student at Fourth East High School initially. She was the one who spoke of the Prophecy of Nostradamus. Besides this, she has made scattered appearances in most of the Part 2 arcs.

But even so, not much about her or her abilities has been divulged. As seen previously, she exerts control over the Falling Devil, Fire Devil, and the Guillotine Devil. She also seems to possess the ability to teleport, quite often just appearing out of nowhere. One of the Four Horsemen, she embodies the fear of starvation and famine. The immense mystery surrounding her is what makes her more scary.

2) Falling Devil

Introduced in Chainsaw Man Part 2, the Falling Devil represents the primal fear of falling—both physically and mentally (into depression). Her appearance was shocking and terrifying, made up of parts of mangled corpses. The Falling Devil's abilities, though, were on a different scale. With a mere clap, she was able to give Asa Mitaka a traumatic flashback.

Further, she was easily able to drop a building on Denji and Asa and toyed with gravity itself as she fought them. She was even capable of firing energy beams, seen when she obliterated the Justice Devil in anger as her "dish" was being disgraced. In the end, however, she seems to be under Fami's control, immediately halting her assault when asked to do so.

1) Chainsaw Devil

As seen in Chainsaw Man Part 2, Pochita has proven to be an absolute powerhouse. Not just in Part 2, but in Part 1 as well, the moment the Hero of Hell form was unlocked, chaos reigned every time the transformation was complete. There was a reason why he was the Devil feared by Devils, and Fujimoto hasn't missed a single opportunity to show why.

Pochita's display of his abilities has been beyond impressive. His present battle against the Aging Devil is a depiction of his immense power. Regenerating from just a heart, blinding speed and great strength are just some of the tools he possesses. More recently, his ability to regurgitate previously consumed Devils has brought intrigue and will likely play a crucial part in the story to come.
