In the first episode of Pseudo Harem, fans meet Eiji Kitahama and Rin Nanakura. Eiji initially tricks Rin by introducing himself as the president of the theatre club, only for her to discover that he was bluffing and was merely a member. Eiji then introduces Rin to the actual president and other members, who give Rin a script to test her acting skills. Impressed by her talent, the president welcomes Rin into the club.

The scene shifts to the gymnasium, where Eiji confides in Rin about his dream of experiencing a harem life. Excited, Rin reveals her little devil girl personality, initiating a pseudo-harem experience for Eiji. During a horror story session in the club room, Eiji gets scared after hearing the story. When Rin is asked about how she feels, he notices Rin's pale and scared face. After the session, Rin, still frightened, switches between her scared tsundere and spoiled girl personalities to tease Eiji.

The next day, Rin goes to Eiji's class to take him to the club and finds him asleep. She contemplates pranking him in her little devil girl personality, but Eiji wakes up and catches her holding his hand.
