Ranma ½ episode 10 will air on Sunday, December 8, 2024, at 12:55 am JST. The most recent episode featured the protagonist and Akane Tendo going up against Azusa Shiratori and Mikado Sanzenin, "The Golden Pair of Kolhotz High School", on an ice skating battle that went awry for the former as Ranma struggles to stand still.

This episode continued what the previous one had started through Ranma's protective nature of Akane and stating to Mikano that she is his fiance so he is not going to let him flirt with her. Ranma ½ episode 10 will likely continue with this fight, now featuring Ryoga Hibiki as Ranma's partner and perhaps setting up an introduction for the final foil of the season, Shampoo.

The most recent episode starts with Ryoga Hibiki arriving at the Furinkan school for Ranma Saotome and Akane Tendo's clash with Azusa Shiratori and Mikado Sanzenin. His initial plan is to help Akane win the fight and thus stay with her since he is the prize as P-Chan/Charlotte but Ranma turns him into a pig to keep him away from the action.

After the protagonist makes his intentions clear to Mikado that he is not going to allow him to touch Akane, the former and his fiance fail to make a proper entrance to the ice. As the battle with the Golden Pair progresses, it is clear that Ranma is struggling greatly since he doesn't know how to ice skate but his pride is getting in the way.

Akane realizes this but they end up getting into a battle, although Ranma protects her when Mikado tries to flirt with her. The protagonist makes it clear that he is not going to let him touch her and Mikado and Azusa prepare a special, helicopter-like move to separate them.

Ultimately, Ranma takes the biggest hit to protect Akane, and Ryoga steps in to take her place, setting up the two rivals as a team for the first time in the series against the Golden Pair.

Ranma ½ episode 10 of this MAPPA production will likely continue with female Ranma and Ryoga going up against the likes of Mikado and Azusa. Furthermore, this part in the manga ended with a cliffhanger which set the arrival of Shampoo. Therefore, that could possibly be the case here since she was already teased in the opening and is the upcoming arc in the source material.
