Ranma ½ episode 7 will air on Sunday, November 17, 2024, at 12:55 am JST. The previous episode saw the introduction of the Black Rose, Kodachi Kuno, and her rivalry with Akane Tendo and her love for Ranma, which leads to a battle with the coprotagonists throughout the entirety of the episode.

Moreover, this recent episode also showed Akane's struggles with gymnastics, Ryoga Hibiki's shenanigans as P-Chan, and Ranma finding out that Kodachi is Tatewaki Kuno, plus a lot of different fights involving the Black Rose wanting to get an edge over the cast.

Ranma ½ episode 7 is likely to continue in that direction and also feature the protagonist using his female version to fight Kodachi, which is widely regarded as one of the best battles in the manga.

The most recent episode started with the female version of Ranma Saotome walking through the streets and discovering that a lady named Kodachi, wielding the nickname "The Black Rose", is tormenting a group of teenagers.

As Ranma steps in and casts Kodachi away, he discovers that these teenagers are young girls from his school.

These girls talk with Akane Tendo and reveal that Kodashi is part of the St. Hebereke's School for Girls and is a master of the Martial Arts Rhythmic Gymnastics, who they also have to face next week but were attacked beforehand.

They ask Akane to step in for them and defeat her because of her reputation as a martial artist, which she ultimately agrees to, although her initial training proves to be sloppy, and Ryoga Hibiki, who was acting as the pig P-Chan, decides to help her.

As this is happening, Kodachi steps in at night to the Tendo dojo and tries to attack Akane to injure her, arguing that this is valid because this is a battle. This also results in Ranma saving Kodachi when the latter falls from the rooftop and the young lady falls in love with him, to the point that she begins to stalk him at school.

It is revealed here that she is Tatewaki Kuno's sister and female Ranma is going to have to face her on the weekend because Akane suffered an ankle injury.
