Re:ZERO season 3 episode 5 is scheduled to air on Wednesday, October 30, 2024, at 10:30 pm JST in Japan. It will be broadcast on AT-X, TOKYO MX, and other Japanese television channels. For fans outside Japan, the episode will be available to stream on Crunchyroll shortly after its release.

Episode 4 of Re:ZERO season 3 mostly focused on Subaru Natsuki and his group, detailing their plan for a counterattack against the Witch's Cult, following their latest attack on the city of Priestella. The episode also briefly focused on Emilia and her status after being kidnapped by the Sin Archbishop of Greed, Regulus Corneas.

Re:ZERO season 3 episode 4 recap

Episode 4 of Re:ZERO season 3, titled Operation City Hall Recapture, began with a focus on Garfiel Tinsel and Mimi Pearlbatton, who engaged in a brief tussle against two members of the Witch's Cult before managing to get away from them. The episode then saw Reinhard van Astrea confronting his father, Heinkel Astrea, as he held Felt hostage. The episode then shifted focus to Subaru Natsuki and his group, who were seen discussing the Witch's Cult's plans.

After having a brief discussion about Capella Emerada Lugunica's identity and past, Subaru and his group saw Garfiel entering the room where they were conversing, carrying what seemed to be Mimi's lifeless body in his arms.

Fortunately, Mimi was able to survive her injuries and was treated by Felix Argyle. On the other hand, Capella made another announcement, where she spoke about her plans to attack the people of the city as well as Subaru and his group, before launching a mysterious sonic attack towards them.

After explaining his plan to Julius and the others, Subaru and his group went on a mission to disable the media that Capella was using to speak to the city. On their way, they ran into the two Cultists who had previously attacked Mimi and Garfiel. However, despite their best efforts, they weren't able to overpower the two Cultists.

Suddenly, Capella emerged in front of Subaru and the others in the form of a dragon. After a brief exchange of words, Julius attacked Capella and managed to inflict severe damage upon her. However, Capella's wounds regenerated in an instant, following which she took her leave.

Towards the end of the episode, Subaru and his group came across the Sin Archbishop of Gluttony, whose sight made Subaru furious with rage. The episode then shifted focus to Emilia, who woke up in a strange room. Regulus Corneas then entered the room and seeing her awake, asked her if she was a virgin or not. With this, the episode came to an end.

What to expect from Re:ZERO season 3 episode 5

Following the events of episode 4, fans can expect Re:ZERO season 3 episode 5 to focus more on Emilia's status, since she is currently being held captive by Regulus Corneas, who seems to have sinister plans in mind for her. The episode will also feature the high-stakes battle between Subaru, Julius, and Crusch, against the Sin Archbishop of Gluttony.
