Episode 6 of Re:ZERO season 3 saw Subaru Natsuki being swept away by the muddy current that flooded Priestella in the previous episode. Episode 6 of Re:ZERO season 3, titled Conditions of the Knight, began with the Sin Archbishop of Greed, Regulus Corneas' 184th wife, explaining the current situation to Emilia. She emphasized that Emilia's presence and cooperation were crucial in preventing Priestella from being fully flooded. Despite their bleak predicament, Emilia was confident that Subaru would come soon to rescue her.

Elsewhere, Subaru was awakened by Priscilla and Liliana. After Priscilla cut open Subaru's leg and instantly healed it, the latter explained that the injury on his leg was caused by the Sin Archbishop of Lust, Capella Emerada Lugunica, pouring her Dragon Blood on it. Following this, Priscilla informed Subaru about the new list of demands that Capella had put out.

When Subaru heard that one of Capella's demands included Emilia, he trembled with rage and vowed to defeat the Witch's Cult. Hearing Subaru's declaration of victory, Priscilla rewarded him by slamming him into the ground and singlehandedly defeating all the demi-beasts that appeared in front of them.

Afterward, Subaru split off from Priscilla and Liliana to regroup with his allies, while the latter duo traveled to every shelter in the city to save citizens from the effects of the Authority of Wrath. Subaru soon came across Julius Euclius, who saved him from a demi-beast and took him to the government office, their new headquarters.

Subaru then learned about Crusch's horrifying predicament, who was severely affected by Capella's Dragon Blood. Upon meeting Anastasia Hoshin, he discussed Capella's list of demands with her. Subaru strongly refused to comply with the Witch's Cult's demands, which included handing over Beatrice and Emilia.

He then outlined his plans for a total victory by defeating all the Sin Archbishops and saving everyone Capella had transformed, not realizing that achieving total victory against the Witch's Cult might be impossible given their current situation.

The episode also focused on Emilia, who was seen revolting against Regulus' plans for their marriage. Her demeanor prompted Regulus to attack his 184th wife for failing to notice the shift in Emilia's behavior. Fortunately, Emilia was able to save her life from the attack.

Later, Emilia attempted to escape from Regulus' clutches and managed to overhear him arguing with other Sin Archbishops about their goals in Priestella. As the climactic episode came to an end, Emilia was seen sneaking into Regulus' room and stealing his communicator, allowing her to make contact with Al. With this, the episode came to an end.
