Following the exciting conclusion of Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 265, it can now be declared with certainty that Yuji Itadori has finally stepped up to his role as the Jujutsu Kaisen MC. His latest powerup is shaping up to be the decisive factor in finally defeating Ryomen Sukuna.

With only six months of experience in the world of Jujutsu sorcery, Yuji Itadori has managed to reach immense heights, particularly during the ongoing fight against the King of Curses in the Shinjuku Showdown arc of the manga.

For a long time, Yuji has been collectively looked down upon by both the villains of the series as well as a vast majority of the fanbase, who often questioned the legitimacy of Yuji's status as the Jujutsu Kaisen MC. However, those doubts now seem to be long gone. Yuji's growth throughout the ongoing fight has proven his doubters wrong, as more and more fans continue to rally behind the true Jujutsu Kaisen MC.

Chapter 265 once again cements Yuji as the Jujutsu Kaisen MC and marks the end for Ryomen Sukuna

In recent chapters of the manga, Yuji Itadori has shocked both readers and the King of Curses, Ryomen Sukuna, with his remarkable growth. Throughout the ongoing battle, he has showcased proficient usage of several new powers and abilities, including Blood Manipulation, Reverse Cursed Technique, Simple Domain, and even Sukuna's Shrine cursed technique.

However, in Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 265, Yuji finally managed to achieve the pinnacle of Jujutsu sorcery - a Domain Expansion. Although the exact nature of his Domain is still unknown, it is seemingly being built up to be powerful enough to end Sukuna's life for good.

As the fight against Sukuna progressed, Yuji's chances of taking down the King of Curses became more and more prominent. This can be attributed to the fact that not only was Sukuna severely weakened following his battle against Satoru Gojo, but also because Yuji managed to showcase his true capabilities during the latter stages of the fight.

Yuji achieving his own Domain in chapter 264 of the manga is a moment that fans have been anticipating for a long time. This is because, in almost every battle until the Shinjuku Showdown, Yuji was too powerless to actually go toe-to-toe against some of the strongest villains of the series.

The fact that the Jujutsu Kaisen MC himself was being overshadowed by other characters like Kinji Hakari or Yuta Okkotsu is something that has been bothering a lot of fans for quite some time. It eventually led to fans repeatedly bashing Yuji on social media for being less capable than other characters, while some took it a step further by calling him a "fraud."

However, Yuji has finally managed to beat all the unnecessary allegations imposed upon him, as he is now even considered to be one of the strongest Jujutsu Kaisen characters. His remarkable growth, all of which took place in the one month leading up to the Shinjuku Showdown, has been nothing short of a spectacle to witness.

With powerful abilities like Blood Manipulation, Dismantle, Simple Domain, Reverse Cursed Technique, and even a Domain Expansion in his arsenal, Yuji is now arguably the sorcerers' only hope for ending Sukuna's reign of terror on the Jujutsu society.

Throughout the entire battle between the Jujutsu Tech sorcerers and The King of Curses, Yuji has been the only one who consistently got back up on his feet despite his injuries. He continued his efforts to save Megumi Fushiguro from Sukuna's clutches. What's more, in the past few chapters, Sukuna's attacks were shown to have no significant effect on Yuji, who constantly managed to push the former back.

Although there currently isn't much information on the exact nature or capabilities of Yuji's Domain at the moment, one thing is for sure - it will be the key to ending Sukuna's life for good. Given the fact that Yuji displayed an overwhelming amount of confidence while declaring that he could kill Sukuna if he wanted to, it seems likely that, at the very least, his Domain has the ability to separate Sukuna's soul from Megumi's body.

Now that Yuji and Sukuna are finally battling on equal footing, it only seems fair that Yuji enacts his long-overdue revenge on the King of Curses. For every vile act Sukuna committed just to spite him, Yuji is bound to deliver the payback twofold and reclaim his status as the true Jujutsu Kaisen MC.
