Demon Slayer anime's Infinity Castle Arc is reportedly set to be released as three different movies. These three movies will reportedly act as the finale for the anime series, encapsulating the entire Final Battle Arc, i.e., the Infinity Castle Arc and Sunrise Countdown Arc.

Kimetsu no Yaiba, written and illustrated by Koyoharu Gotouge, follows the story of Tanjiro Kamado, a boy who becomes a Demon Slayer after Muzan Kibutsuji slaughtered his family and turned his sister Nezuko into a demon. Tanjiro hopes to defeat Muzan and turn his sister back into a human.

Demon Slayer anime's finale set to be released as three movies

According to the information leaked from one of the visitor giveaways from the Jump Victory Carnival website, Ufotable's Demon Slayer anime is set to adapt its final 'Infinity Castle Arc' as a movie trilogy.

Unfortunately, the information has now seemingly been deleted from the website, leaving fans to deduce the rumor. However, not all hope is lost as apparently, there is a similar image in the Weekly Shonen Jump magazine set to be released next Monday.

Hence, fans can expect Demon Slayer anime to make the announcement for the finale following its Sunday broadcast. However, Demon Slayer Hashira Training Arc episode 7 isn't the final episode of the ongoing anime. Therefore, the possible announcement could get delayed until the next Sunday, i.e., June 30, 2024.

That's not all! As manga readers would know, the Infinity Castle Arc isn't the final arc of the series, hence a trilogy of the Infinity Castle Arc would not be the anime's finale. However, according to Japanese listings, the 'Infinity Castle Arc' terminology includes everything until the end of the series.

This means that the movie trilogy adaptation would animate both the Infinity Castle Arc and Sunrise Countdown Arc as the anime's finale.

That said, fans must remember that these are just rumors based on apparently deleted information online and no official announcement has been made about the Demon Slayer anime's finale. Therefore, fans should remain patient until the series' animation studio Ufotable makes any announcements regarding the same.

Given that the ongoing anime Kimetsu no Yaiba Hashira Training Arc will air up until Sunday, June 30, 2024, fans may have to wait until then for the series to reveal its plans for the future.
