Some time ago, a leak came out online, stating how the Sakamoto Days anime adaptation was not as good as fans hoped it would be. Since then, fans have begun nitpicking every nook and cranny of the new anime's promotional material. Such a series of developments has seen fans feel conflicted about the anime adaptation and express their concerns online.

As mentioned above, just as TMS Entertainment was promoting the Sakamoto Days anime, a leak came out online that revealed how the anime adaptation wasn't as good as fans hoped it would be. The fight choreography seemingly isn't depicted well in the anime, making the action scenes look less cool than their source material.

Generally, fans prefer judging an anime themselves. However, after the leak about the Blue Lock anime adaptation came true, fans began nitpicking every detail they noticed in the Sakamoto Days anime's promotional material. Hence, they are left conflicted about the adaptation.

While adaptation itself doesn't look bad, they have begun to notice some lack of good production quality in certain areas. This has led them to believe that TMS Entertainment is only showcasing scenes from the anime that are looking good. Meanwhile, the rest of the adaptation could be average at best.

That said, with no clear indication that the anime adaptation is bad, fans are unable to come to a common ground. With that, they are left with conflicted thoughts about the adaptation.

While most fans did not find any issues with the normal scenes from the anime, they criticized TMS Entertainment, stating that the animation studio was massacring the action scenes. While such animation would have been good for an average battle shonen, it did not do justice to Sakamoto Days' godly fight choreography, something that made the manga popular in the first place.

"TMS massacring the action scenes," one fan said.
"maybe good for average battle shonen, but for Sakamoto's godly choreography? Nah, it's garbage," another added.
"It would’ve been good for a late 2000s show, honestly it kinda does remind of OG Bleach’s animation," another fan said.
"This animation style is good for Suzuki's artstyle & the choreography looks like it'll be fine, including the impact frames & etc. Quit hating," other fan said.

Meanwhile, other fans compared the animation for Sakamoto Days to something that came out in the late 2000s, something like the original Bleach anime by Studio Pierrot. Nevertheless, some fans believed that the animation style of the anime was good. As per them, the adaptation seemed good for Yuto Suzuki's art style and choreography. However, as one could guess, not all fans agreed with this sentiment.
