The previous episode of Sakamoto Days began with a bunch of Uzuki's spies who had infiltrated the JAA discussing how they had yet to receive a message from Haruma to carry out the plan. The spies, who had grouped together in a restroom, had their conversation interrupted by an unexpected noise from one of the stalls.
They approached the stall to investigate and fired a few rounds. Then, a hand emerged from one of the bullet holes, grabbing one of the nearby spies by his nose and swiftly decapitating him, along with the door, with a swift stroke of a katana. It was none other than Takamura who emerged from the stall. As the remaining spies tried to fight back, he sliced them up one after another.
Elsewhere, Sakamoto and Nagumo were seen desperately pleading with Uzuki to remain as Akao, as they wanted to avoid killing him. Uzuki was aware of the limited time he had before his true personality would resurface. Despite this, the Akao persona seemed open to accepting the offer, if it were possible.
Suddenly, Nagumo's phone began to beep. There was an emergency message from the JAA, declaring that former JAA member Uzuki, along with former Order members Nagumo and Sakamoto, were now designated as Special Class-A extermination targets due to their alleged conspiracy against the JAA.
The order was to kill them on sight. This news, which also reached their friends and acquaintances such as Shin and Shishiba, left them confused.
Nagumo quickly deduced that Asaki was behind this, even though he could not comprehend why he would resort to such an extreme measure. At this point, it appeared that Uzuki's original personality had resurfaced. Just then Takamura also made his dramatic entrance, landing right in the middle of the trio.
What to expect from Sakamoto Days chapter 164 (speculative)
In Sakamoto Days chapter 164, readers are likely to see Uzuki, Sakamoto, and Nagumo engage in a battle with Takamura. If this fight indeed takes place, the art in the action scenes will be epic.
Moreover, there is still a mystery surrounding Akao’s death and Asaki’s involvement in it. There is surely something that Asaki must be hiding, something that the trio is unaware of. Hopefully, readers will receive their answers shortly.
