In the last chapter, Shin demonstrated that while he may never match the physical strength of Sakamoto or Kindaka, his ESP remains his greatest asset against Order-level foes. His ability to come up with a plan at the drop of a hat to defeat Shackles proves the point.

However, there is still room for growth. His journey through the second level of the JAA prison in Sakamoto Days chapter 185 could provide the chance for him to enhance his abilities further.

In the previous chapter, Shackles was filled with anger, unable to understand how Shin had managed to make him trip. Determined to get his revenge, Shackles revealed a blade hidden in one of his handcuffs and attempted to lacerate Shin several times. Despite being restrained by numerous handcuffs, Shin dodged each attack by using his telepathic abilities to anticipate Shackles' moves.

Heisuke, seeing his friend in danger, handed Shin a frozen yellow-tail fish, which Shin then used to strike back at Shackles. Boiled warned Heisuke that he would have to pay a price for helping Shin, but Heisuke remained undeterred and prioritized his friend's safety above all.

As the battle between the two heated up, Shackles managed to gain the upper hand by binding Shin in multiple chains. He then instructed the control room to lower the temperature by ten more degrees, preparing to torture and possibly kill Shin with his blade.

Just as Shackles was about to proceed with his plan, Boiled intervened, intercepting a swing meant for Shin. Despite his injury, Boiled managed to break all the chains restraining Shin with his bare hands. He revealed that he had been overwhelmed by the strong bond of friendship between Heisuke and Shin. However, Boiled collapsed from losing too much blood shortly after.

Taking advantage of the opportunity, Shin devised a plan and used his ESP to command the control room operator to cut the power. In the ensuing darkness, Shackles was left helpless, and his anxiety betrayed his position to Shin.

By the time the lights were restored, Shin had nearly incapacitated Shackles, who was now shivering and pleading for his life. Shin then simply demanded to be transferred to B2. The chapter concluded with Atari revealing that the three lives she had predicted would be lost at the JAA Prison were, in fact, of three cockroaches.

It is expected that they will encounter tougher and stronger inmates. It remains uncertain how they will handle these challenges before being transferred to the lowest level of the JAA prison. Readers can also look forward to more appearances from Atari, whose scenes have become the comic relief in this arc.
